No. Just remove dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll. That is all. 🙂

Can confirm that LSPDFR and RPH work with the latest version of GTA 5 on Steam. Retail/EPIC unknown at this time.

It should. You need to remove ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll to be able to run successfully for the latest update.

That is correct. You should still be able to spawn the vehicles in via the RPH Console or if they are replace, via the PD Station. Those two files you mentioned should be the only out-of-date ones. Mods folder should be fine. 🙂

Awesome, thank you!

Well i got ingame now but my whole mods folder wount work. No replace cars, no EUP and no sirens...

Replace vehicles should work. Just use the RPH Console menu to spawn them in. EUP probably wont work and neither will ELS.

Found this video on YT and it worked for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydigq_TjoY4

So basically, they just have the old version of the GTA5.exe file that really shouldn't be redistributed in the first place.

I understand, but this is what worked for me.

But that is still copyright infringement. If people want to do that, they can. But they should at least know what they are doing is wrong before they do it.

@UnknownBastion I am not forcing anyone to follow this video. All I am doing is providing a possible solution. Besides, it's best if people get their GTA5.exe file from their own backup.

Never said you were. Just wanted people to know the ethics behind what they were doing. And if they can get it from their own backup, that is fine. But redistributing it to others that don't have that violates Rockstar's Copyright Claim.

I'm sure most people know that you are not allowed to share game files. And like I said before, I recommend people to get the file from their own backup.

Just a quick question with the latest update.rpf

Is there any way to avoid having to "rebuild" my mods folder by manually adding sirens, etc... or can I just copy the latest patchday?

Do I have to update my mods folder?

Thanks!

You shouldn't have to rebuild your mods folder with this update. Just remove dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll.

I had to backup my Vehicles.meta, Handling.meta, Carcols.ymt, Visualsettings.dat, Dlclist.xml and Gameconfig.xml before moving the new update.rpf into my mods folder. Once I did that I reinstalled all of those, reinstalled the asi loader and was good to go. My sirens, cars, weapons etc. are in other folders.

No, for me it doesn't work to "just remove" the script hook v files. My game crashes before rage plugin hook even loads the plugins. I have installed to many .asi mods and all that stuff, because some mods will crash your game. Some mods just won't work but some mods crash your game so I need to wait for the script hook v update.

Then there is most likely another underlying issue. Because removing ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll worked for many others. Make sure all your plugins are up-to-date, and that you don't have too many car packs installed.
