Need Help and Information

Hello folks, my name is Sharakon I am new to this community just joined today about 2 minutes ago actually lol. I have a few questions about installing and running LSPDFR on GTA 5. Please note: i am a newcomer to PC gaming so I really need help and hoping you guys could answer a few of my questions. 

So the first thing is  1. Should I buy GTA 5 off steam or go off Rockstar games or something? Will LSPDFR work if I do buy GTA 5 through Steam? 

2. Will the PC thats coming in the mail be good enough to run GTA 5 on higher settings with LSPDFR also? Specs below: 

3. How do I install LSPDFR? 

4. How do I get it to work? 

5. Where are the instructions to use it? 

6. Can anyone explain to me like im a complete noob who doesn't have any idea about this stuff?

Either one works. I personally prefer the Retail version over Steam as you dont have to worry about Steam issues like failed updates and whatnot. And LSPDFR will work regardless of if you have Steam, Retail, or EPIC Games version.

If the PC can run GTA 5 easily or moderately, you should be able to run LSPDFR. I have much lower specs than that and run it pretty well with all the Plugins and such.

Fairly easy. Download the Manual version. Then make a folder on your Desktop and extract the download to it using WinRaR. If you don't have WinRaR, you can get it from here: https://www.rarlab.com/ From there, just drag and drop everything except the Licenses folder into the Main Directory and then LSPDFR is successfully installed. Sidenote: You need to get through the entire prologue to play LSPDFR. Once you are able to free room with Franklin, you will have passed it.

Just launch RagePluginHook. The exe for it is found in the Main Directory to where you just installed it. It will run you through the setup and then let you launch. Make sure you go to the Plugins tab in the RPH Settings Menu and enable LSPDFR to load on Startup.

The download page or documentation included with it should tell you how to use LSPDFR. To go on-duty, you can either go to the PD Station or press F4 and type ForceDuty in the console. @UnknownBastion can you also explain how to install my own police car mods like I want a South Dakota Highway Patrol Ford Explorer instead of the ones already on there.. how do I install those? And also is a controller okay I just need to use the keyboard for the commands right? And one more thing where can I get stop the ped because that's where I can pat people down and search and what not right? 

I think Stop the ped lets you pull up the drivers license on vehicles and people and has the computer? Im just very new to this so sorry in advance

If you are replacing the base vehicles with the ones you downloaded, you just install them to here:
mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday22\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf

If the vehicles are also ELS, you put the ELS files here: ELS/pack_default

A controller should work. You will find the best compatibility with an Xbox controller though. Although, I recommend using a keyboard and mouse for everything because of all the keybindings you will eventually be utilizing.

Correct. That is the one where you can do all those actions. Since BejoIjo removed his mods from this site, they can all be found here:
