How do I avoid the new Rockstart Launcher making me update

Featured Replies

Rockstar just released a new launcher I guess pretty recently, and now it keeps wanting to update my GTA 5. Is there a way to avoid updates? I use GTA V Update Blocker.

I am not too sure if there is a way as I too was forced to update but the new update has been supported now by Rage, LSPDFR and Scripthookv so it shouldn't impact your game 🙂 Make sure to make a backup beforehand though - trust me

Update Blocker no longer works because GTA is ran through the Rockstar Launcher and there's no way to block that. I Have heard of a way to stop updates using the Epic Games launcher but i haven't looked into it
