Hi,

 

I just installed the game, downloaded and installed the mod and ran the configuration tool.

 

I am reading https://www.lcpdfr.com/wiki/lspdfr/04/getting-started/ but it didn't tell me at what point I can do this. Are there missions that I need to do first? Is it an online only thing?

 

Please don't shoot me, very new to this.

LSPDFR is a Singleplayer only modification for the (latest) PC version of GTA V. You need to complete the first missions until you are put in free-roam as Franklin. After that, you can load LSPDFR. Doing so before will result in weird stuff with your game. 

Ahhh thank you, am I suppose to install the mod after I get free roam?

You can install it whenever, but you should not load the plugin until after you are put into free roam.
