RPH on a clean Installation crashes on Start

Featured Replies

Hi Guys!

I suffer under this problems for a couple of months, but I can't find the origin of the problem...

My RPH crashes everytime I try to start the game. 1 out of 100 Times it works, and when it works it works absolutly fine.

But I cant find the reason for those massive crashes.

In this log I used a clean Installation of GTA V and installted only LSPDFR + RPH via the Autoinstaller from the website. I use the Steamversion.

I tried to...

- ... start the Game first and RPH later

- ... start the Game with and without plugins (I even removed everthing from the pluginfolder)

- ... Start the Game with other launchers (Vanilla, RageMP, FiveM... worked all perfect except AltV)

- ... reinstall the Game a thousend times

In the end I'm still able to play after 14823908907 startups, but I would be happy if someone has a look on my log.

Rename mods folder to _mods (if you have one)

As I already said: This happens on a clean installation without a Modfolder, with LSPDFR only and without any plugin.

The cause of this problem should be somewhere around RPH itself, as far as I could test it.

Beside that: Of course I tested renaming the Modfolder, the result was the same like starting the clean installation with RPH: Sometimes it works, sometimes not. After installing all my mods and plugins the game went more stable than the clean installation. But this is only my impression, not a fact.

I have the exact same problem. Even our logs are similar. I also tried different ways to make it work but nothing changed. I'm 100% sure that the problem is on rph side, but they don't have any technical support as far as i know. What ur pc specs btw (mine are gtx1660s and ryzen3600 with 16gb ram) maybe rph faces some troubles with graphic card or smth else i dunno.

I have a GTX 1060 6GB, a Ryzen 7 3700x and 16gb RAM.

Everything around GTA is on a SSD.

I don't have any other known problems besides GTA/RPH with my setup.

I never had any issues with this Setup and LSPDFR between 2016 - 2020, around Q1 2020 the problem appeared the first time.

I also have the feeling that the game loads better if I remove or clear the plugins folder, then start the game, then put the content back into the folder and load everything via RPH-Console. Works better than starting the game via RPH and the "No Plugins on Startup"-Option. But here I also cant say if this is just a feeling or a real fact.

Hmmm... for me this is a workaround, not a solution. I dont buy GTA another time or support another Gamelauncher.

But can someone explain hot this can be, and whats the Cause is?

Because of what you wrote I checked my steamsetting. I found out that my RHP runs as admin, but steam doesnt.

I did that because RPH told me everytime after the installation that my steams runs as admin so RPH needs also.

Maybe that will solve the problem.

Error while hiding ambient game blips: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Disable your ambient events from the lspdfr.ini file, situated into the lspdfr folder
