Siren Stuck on Phaser

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Having a really weird issue lately where the alternate siren sound (accessed by holding C with the siren on) is stuck on the phaser tone, for all emergency vehicles. The wail works fine, but the yelp is missing entirely. I've spent several hours troubleshooting it, and I honestly have no idea what the issue is - has anyone else experienced this before?

With the latest update to Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar has implemented a rudimentary siren control feature for police vehicles (non-els of course). My understanding of it is that Wail is default when the siren is activated, Yelp can be toggled by tapping the siren button and holding it down afterwards, and the Phaser is accessed by holding the button down normally. You can notice ingame that the sirens play differently with this update, and I am unsure why they would change this.
