I was editing something INSIDE THE MODS folder, until the next 25 times starting the game with a crash. I've been using these mods like everyone does for 3 years.

 

I'm not a noob, tested all possible cause and here are the 2 causes:

1. ASI manager of OPEN IV installed.

2. Dinput8.dll of script hook v is installed.

 

Any ideas? I cant play the game. No ELS, no script hook v, no mods folder. 

I need a reply on what might be the reason of why I couldnt use those 2 files.

 

What did you edit?
If it's a .meta file make sure you didn't forget any tags.

 

Sadly there is no .log for the mods folder, so you'll have to tell us which files you edited.

I edited inside mods folder, a carcols.ymt and some car mods. And renaming mods folder, ELS, script folders do not make a change. It seems to be an ASI problem, removing dinput8 will load the game but I cant play LSPDFR

All the .asi Im using are very common, probably it's a conflict, not an individual cause

It seems to be a mods folder problem, not a ASI problem.

Rename mods to _mods and see if that works for you.

If it does, revert the changes you did.

No it doesnt, I did please read what I said. Thanks for your speedy response.

Update: ASI loader problem, failed to load any API and caused the crash, a fix is needed
