Texture loss with car pack

Featured Replies

I can run LSPDFR plus a bunch of plugins and callouts pretty well with my old system (especially after the last script hook update I am getting a way better performance than before) but since I installed a car replace pack I am getting problems with my world textures

Yeah I saw Malcolms post (thanks for that) but my issue is this pack replaces almost every car available so yeah i have pretty much over 200 cars installed right now plus some police cars

Is there any way to rescale the textures not one by one? Or any other way to prevent the texture loss?

It happens just on duty if lspdfr is loaded but Im not on duty than it runs quite well

On the other hand I dont really understand the problem in general

I saw someone under Malcolms Guide who has just replaced the police cars and is getting texture losses too with a way better setup than mine (i7-9700k, GTX 1080Ti and 32GB RAM compared to my old Ryzen 3 2200G, a GTX 1060 6GB, 8GB RAM)

If I just replace the police cars I have no problems at all so it kinda confuses me it looks to me like it is occuring somehow random to people? Or at least Im not sure what causes it exactly but it doesnt seem to me like its depending on hardware alone so any suggestions?

Or maybe a way to quickly scale down the textures? Doing this one by one with 200+ Cars is absolutely not an option

Honestly I guess it just won't work and I have to delete the cars

And sorry for that long post but this kinda ruins a lot for me so I would appreciate any kind of help so thanks for your time

It's not GPU/CPU mostly, it's also HDD / SSD speed and what settings GTA is being ran at.

It's also important to see what else runs in the background and what priority GTA is assigned.

You should also disable Preload and check that you don't install with high polys, that means files size less than 16MB.

You need help but aren't sure what you need to do / where you can get help?

Official Rage Plugin Hook Discord offers instant peer to peer help for all kinds of GTA V issues, RagePluginHook issues & LSPDFR / Plugins issues.

Come in, state your issue and leave playing one hell of an amazing game.

I believe it's my HDD I completely blended that out

I played with the settings but it doesnt change much maybe I could try to lower textures to normal didnt try that honestly

Priority is on high and Preload disabled I'm going to check that 16MB thing basically my last hope to make it playable

Thank you
