Will This Run LSPDFR?.

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, Noob here with a question or two.

I have recently been pricing prebuilt gaming pcs, however with a lot of the specs I am totally clueless. I have been looking at 2 different desktops, which are the following w/ specs.

1. Hp Omen Tracer- this one is a ryzen 5 3500 matched with a gtx 1650

2. Asus ROG Strix GL10- This one has a ryzen 7 3700x matched with a gtx 1650.

Both are 8gb of ram, which at this point doesnt bother me too much being in a desktop and can be upgraded.  Would these do the job for running LSPDFR? Im also assuming the r7 is better than the r5?

Any info on either of these setups and which would run better is appreciated

Both CPUs are fine, the Ryzen 7 3700x will probably be a good bet if you want to upgrade your GPU in future. 8GB of RAM is a little low for a new system, and I'd personally not settle for at least 16GB, but GTA V will work okay if you have everything else closed.

The GPU is really going to be the bottleneck. The 1650 is not a great GPU however will probably give a 1080p 60fps experience on medium/high settings. If you're thinking of just a 1080p 60fps monitor, and not really caring about any future proofing, then both systems will be okay for a baseline experience.

Thank you for the reply. I was thinking as a getting started kind of deal. I know that later on i will upgrade ram as well as the gpu. Im coming over from consoles so for me, for now better than console would be the key
