Car textures turning chrome.

Featured Replies

I don't know how to fix this, yes, I've read other Forums, yes, I have Naturalvision, no, I still have no solution to fix this. Anyone have any ideas? Would be greatly appreciated. The only vehicle slots it's happened to me with is Police, and Police2. It changes back and forth from chrome and its regular color in certain weather, and certain day times, then eventually it just turns chrome, and it won't change.

Hello,

The reason why the police vehicle textures keeps changing upon respawning, is because you have multiple vehicle textures installed.

If you do not want a certain texture, use OpenIV and find that vehicle model; go to the texture file which is the .ytd file. Enable edit mode, open the .ytd file and look for vehicle signs. Delete the ones you don't like and rename the number at the end of the text to 1, then save.
