SMPA60 Error: Regarding the Multiplayer Aspect

Recommended Posts

I know there are a few topics that go around this error and it has been explained numerous times that this is the fault of the modder. However, one specific sentence is missing. "It's not ALWAYS your game". That is right, and I have proven it! Turns out most people using Simple Trainer (6.0 or higher) and/or LCPDFR are also using Car Modifications Online!

Now for the kicker, most people think this is the fault of the person joining the game (You). Wrong, I myself have a Grand Theft Auto Game, Clean installation, no Modifications, no Scripts, no Mods, no DLLs, No Nothing but a Clean-Vanilla Game installed. To top it off, and New Game Save that has not even been started yet.

This concludes that, I as a player (Possibly you as well) are not at fault for this error. After numerous experimentation and community assistance from the Free Mode Community for Role Player servers, users have recommended using an Anti-Cheat Detection Tool which allows you to detect the following:

  • Trainers
  • God Mode
  • Speed Hack
  • Car Mods
  • Invalid Data

This would help you identify the culprit. Yes, that is correct, its another player in the game! A Little bit of studying has said that anyone joining a game in Free Mode, and other Matches with a Car Mod of any sort is considered to be called a Griefer, purposely joining your game to crash anyone who does not have the same Mod installed (Chances are, none do).

How does this happen? While in Multiplayer, the game loads your world constantly, all Free-Roam Games do. Everytime it has to load all that data up. In theory, the player with the Car Mod, sometimes causes the game not to load the data to all other clients correctly because it does not exist. When this player is in proximity of other players (Close enough in radius of the game loading to another player) that poor soul will end up with the ERROR: SMPA60. In common situations you will see many players clustered together in a small street, doing arrests, or RPing. When the player with the Car Mod arrives, you may have noticed this:

  • Jack left the game.
  • Numero left the game.
  • Thehunted left the game.
  • Marcus101RR left the game.

4 people left the game all at the exact same time. Strange? Nope, the Car Mod user (Griefer), crashed you on purpose. Everyone knows, DO NOT USE CAR MODS ONLINE, unless its a PRIVATE MATCH. Since recently, it is considered a griefing technique, anyone caught doing it is wrong. It is highly recommended you research the anti cheat tool to find anyone joining your game with mods, and/or create private matches.

I hope this clarifies everyone that IT MAY NOT BE YOUR GAME AT ALL!
