Hello, I am new to LSPDFR and I am having a few problems with crashes and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to fix the issue.

I have tried fixing the issue and have (I think) done everything in the "Common Issues and Bugs" topic. 

When I first encountered the crash it was when I was creating my character, specifically when changing his hair colour.  It locked up and the only way to get out of it was to reboot my pc.  I tried again after that thinking it was maybe just a one off, but it did the same thing when changing his hair colour.  

After trying to fix the issue myself by reading the topics above, I decided to uninstall GTA V and start again by reinstalling everything again.  But it did the same thing at the same time (changing hair colour on a new character).

I then tried again, but this time I just excepted the first character that I could and changed no other features.  This time I was able to load in and selected uniform and load out with no issues.  However LSPDFR crashes every time I play but only the plugin crashes, the game doesn't lock up like it did before.  This time the crashes at various times and I can't seem to pick why.  For example it will (sometimes) lock up when looking at the map or even the controls.

Below is my most recent Rage Hook file (I hope its the right one you need), it is from locking up when trying to create a character after a clean reinstall (again).  All I have installed is LSPDFR, Rage Hook, Simple Trainer and OpenIV. 

I'm thinking I have done something wrong when installing and it's probably simple to fix, but it has gotten the best of me.  I will be thankful for any help anyone can give and sorry for the wall of text.  I just thought I would try to give as much info as I can to help in find the cause.

I also meant to say I have no crashes after installing the aforementioned programs when I play GTA V through Steam and no crashes when loading the game via Rage Hook.  The crashes only occur when I go on duty. 

The only other thing of note is when I load the game via Rage Hook I initially spawn standing up in my car, that is my body is clipping though the car I was driving.

I have the exact same problem, whenever I try change the colour of the hair, or the eyebrows etc the game completely freezes and I can't do anything. Logs doesn't show anything on it as far as I can see though, because RAGE doesn't see anything due to the game having a complete meltdown.

Do you have lspdfr plugins installed? Or maybe other plugins?

I don't directly see something strange in your log. Do the crashes seem random to you or is it always the specific moments or actions?

 

It seems to happen when you accidentally try changing the colour too fast, then it crashes. If you do it slow and methodical it usually doesn't crash but on occasions it will.

yeah, weird. Looks like a bug in LSPDFR

I’ve gotten this to happen as well. Slightly annoying, Couldn’t allow me to tab out or force close the game

update lspdfr to 0.4.7, .Net Framework to 4.7.2 and Ragepluginhook to 1.78

Try to set your timeout to 60000 (ms)
