Is my pc good enough?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have recently got a new laptop which I believe may be able to play GTA V, I have played the Xbox One version for a few years, and plan to continue. The biggest downside of Xbox is that you can't have mods, which is somthing I do want. Please could someone advise me as to wether my laptop specs (see below) are good enough to run GTA V as well as LSPDFR and not look terrible?
My laptops's specs:

  • Processor - Intel® Core™ i5-8265U (4 Core, 1.0GHz, 6MB)
  • Memory - 8GB (DDR4, 2400MHz)
  • Graphics - Intel® UHD Graphics

Thanks,
James

Most likely not - You need a dedicated GPU for almost all games.

Minimum specs required;

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs) / AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs) @ 2.5GHz
Memory: 4GB
Video Card: NVIDIA 9800 GT 1GB / AMD HD 4870 1GB (DX 10, 10.1, 11)
Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible
HDD Space: 65GB

... and adding mods will require more juice from the CPU as well. My two cents: You need to invest in something better.
