I have watched several tutorials on how to install different car skins and I do not believe I am doing anything wrong. Can someone please help me? Is there anyone willing to communicate with me in discord?

Is the skin you are downloading a .png or a .ytd?

If it's a .png, open the .ytd (or -hi.ytd if the car has both) and replace the skin. It's either labeled _sign or has a huge texture. You can view it yourself.
If it's a .ytd, just replace the file.
