Lights Become Dim in the Afternoon with NVR

Featured Replies

So I've been using visual v for a while now and decided to install Natural vision remastered. It worked well but when I set the time to afternoon the lights on my light bar becomes almost invisible. They work fine in the morning and night time but for some reason become dim in the afternoon. I haven't seen others with this problem yet but any ideas would be appreciated. Here are some screenshots

Install Radiance V then you can adjust the values below:

Go to

GTAV / mods / Update / update.rpf / common / data

find visualsettings file.  Make sure Edit is on in OpenIV.  Right click the file and select Edit.  If it wont let you select edit drag to your desktop, then make changes and drag it back in (cant remember if it allows editing in OpenIV).  Look for these below:

car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on
car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on

These are Radiance V default Values

car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on    1700.00
car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on    1100.00

Obviously the higher the brighter

Ok so I've been messing around with the files but I actually found that this is a known problem with NVR which is shown in the readme which I clearly didn't read well.

"Question: Why does some of the vegetation have weird lighting during (6:00 to 6:30) and (20:00 to 20:30) in Sunny weathers?

Answer: That is a result of the atmosphere I've created during those hours. I cannot fix this without ruining all the good lighting."

Ill try removing the time sync files and see what differences I get.
