🚘 What It Does

Abandoned Vehicle Remover automatically cleans up empty and abandoned vehicles in your immediate patrol area, featuring both seamless background removal and on-demand manual hotkey sweeps. Whether it's a car left behind by a fleeing suspect, a fatal crash scene, or just an empty running vehicle, the plugin tracks it and safely deletes it once you move away and break line-of-sight. This saves you from constantly opening trainer menus or calling a dozen tow trucks just to clear the road.

I built this mod to eliminate post-pursuit scene clutter. Instead of having to drive miles away just to force the game's native despawn system to kick in, AVR handles the cleanup locally and automatically, keeping your active patrol zones clear.

✨ Features

• Automatic Cleanup: Automatically tracks vehicles abandoned during pursuits, foot chases, or fatal incidents and removes them after a configurable delay once you leave the immediate area.

• Smart Filtering: Distinguishes between abandoned/panicked vehicles and legitimately parked civilian cars. Parked cars with closed doors and cold engines are left untouched.

• Player Vehicle Protection: Automatically ignores your current vehicle and last-driven vehicle so your active patrol ride is never accidentally removed while you're on foot.

• Instant Hotkey Removal: Press your hotkey combination (Default: LShift + R) to instantly clear nearby abandoned cars and destroyed husks without waiting for timers.

Note: Burned and exploded husks are bypassed during background auto-sweeps to preserve scene realism, but your hotkey will sweep them right up!

• Emergency Vehicle Protection: Police, fire, and EMS vehicles are protected by default from removal.

• Blip & Mission Protection: Vehicles actively tagged by dispatch, tow calls, or external plugins are automatically excluded from removal.

• Line-of-Sight & Distance Safety: Prevents vehicles from magically popping out of existence while you are actively looking at them or standing near them.

• Fatal Scene & Body Management: Configurable handling for vehicles containing deceased occupants, with options to clear bodies along with the vehicle or keep them at the scene.

• Self-Healing Config: Accidental deletion or corrupt INI file? AVR automatically repairs and regenerates missing or broken .ini files on startup with safe defaults.

• Fully Customizable: Tweak timers, detection ranges, deletion buffers, hotkeys, body handling, and emergency vehicle filters via the .ini file.

📦 Installation

Open and review the included configuration file (AbandonedVehicleRemover.ini) to adjust your preferences.

Drop AbandonedVehicleRemover.dll and AbandonedVehicleRemover.ini into your Grand Theft Auto V / plugins / LSPDFR / folder.

Go on duty.
