West Coast Callouts

This project is still in the active development phase.

West Coast Callouts is a modern and immersive callout package for LSPDFR featuring 40+ different calls, focusing on realism, atmosphere, and dynamic police scenarios across Los Santos.

This pack introduces a growing collection of detailed callouts designed to feel alive and authentic. Every situation is carefully built with immersive scenes, intelligent suspect behavior, ambient interactions, randomized outcomes, and optimized performance in mind.

From routine incidents to high-risk emergencies, officers will respond to a wide range of situations including vehicle thefts, domestic disturbances, robberies, suspicious activity, traffic-related incidents, and more.

Each callout is designed to deliver replayability through varied spawn points, branching outcomes, random suspects, and evolving scenarios.

West Coast Callouts aims to provide a good-quality experience while maintaining performance and stability for long gameplay sessions.

Whether responding to a simple roadside incident or engaging in a dangerous felony pursuit, every callout is designed to make patrol exciting and immersive.

Current Callouts

  1. Armed Store Robbery: Stop the armed robber who is preparing to steal a large sum of money. You need to respond to this call carefully and quickly. You never know what an armed robber might be capable of.

  2. Broken Car: Citizens whose vehicles have broken down and who can no longer work need you.

  3. Domestic Disturbance: Sometimes domestic problems can escalate and manifest as violence on the streets. Help innocent people who need assistance and safety.

  4. Drug Seller: Stop people who are trafficking large quantities of drugs and bringing them illegally onto the streets. Monitor their meeting places, follow them and show yourself when the time is right.

  5. Burning vehicle: Respond promptly to reports of burning cars. Secure the area and notify the fire department.

  7. Hot Pursuit: The police need your help to catch the suspect who escaped at high speed.

  8. Illegal Immigrants in Truck: A vehicle transporting migrants who entered the country illegally has been reported. Proceed to the scene and investigate.

  10. Organised Street Race: An illegal and dangerous organized street race has been reported. Respond to the scene and apprehend those involved.

  11. Person With Knife: An individual experiencing mental health issues is threatening civilians outside with a knife. Approach with caution and neutralize the threat before anyone else is harmed.

  12. Petrol Theft: A theft has been reported at the gas station. The incident could range from petty theft to a serious robbery.

  13. Reckless Driving: Reports have been received of a vehicle being driven recklessly. Observe the driver’s behavior and determine whether the situation warrants intervention.

  14. Shoplifting: A shoplifting incident has been reported. The cashier managed to call the police in time. You never know what you might encounter inside.

  15. Sidewalk Fight: A fight between two individuals is occurring on the sidewalk, causing a disturbance and resulting in injuries. Proceed with caution and assess the situation.

  19. Store Robbery: A distress signal has been received from the store. Approach the scene carefully and assess the situation.

  20. Suspicious Person: An individual has been reported wandering and behaving erratically. Details are limited. Approach with caution and attempt to communicate with the person.

  21. Terrorist Attack: Gang activity has escalated, with groups now engaging in terrorist acts and targeting police officers. An armed, armored group has reportedly attacked a police station.

  22. Traffic Stop Backup: An officer needs assistance at a traffic stop. Proceed to provide backup and maintain scene safety.

  23. Vehicle Accident: A traffic collision involving one or more vehicles has been reported. Secure the scene and interview those involved to determine responsibility.

  24. Wrong Parked Vehicles: Illegal parking has increased as the city becomes more crowded. Vehicles may be obstructing roads, sidewalks, private parking, or pedestrian access. Investigate and request towing if necessary.

  25. Officer Under Fire: A police officer is reportedly taking fire from an assailant. Respond code 3 and neutralize the threat before your fellow officer is injured.

  26. Officer Not Responding: A police officer has not responded to dispatch for an extended period of time. There could be several reasons for the lack of communication. Investigate the area and gather information about the unresponsive officer.

  27. Hostage: Reports indicate that a hostage situation is in progress. Approach the scene with caution and be prepared for a potentially dangerous outcome.

  28. Murder: A dead body has been reported. Call in the coroner team to examine the scene and determine the cause of death. Be aware, this could be an assassination or a natural death.

  29. Interpol Red Notice: Dispatch has located a long-sought Interpol suspect. Approach the area carefully, as the suspect may be armed and the situation is considered highly dangerous.

  30. VIP Convoy Escort: A high-profile individual has landed in the country. Provide security escort to the destination and ensure his safety throughout the journey. Maintain a low profile and avoid drawing attention.

  31. Custom Pursuit: From vehicle speed to engine mode, from whether the tires are bulletproof to how many people are in the vehicle, from backup level to who can and cannot shoot, this is a pursuit callout where you can customize so many things, allowing you to experience some things to the fullest and shape them to your liking every time. (Check ini file for customization)

  32. Taxi Fare Dispute: A dispute has occurred between a taxi driver and a passenger regarding the fare. The taxi driver has reported the situation to the police. Although it may seem straightforward, the outcome remains uncertain.

  33. Road Rage: Two drivers have reportedly become involved in a heated argument on the road. Take control of the situation and ensure the safety of all road users.

  34. Civilian Assistance: Citizens require police assistance. Respond to the individuals in need and provide help. However, if you notice anything suspicious or unusual, prioritize your safety and assess the situation before intervening.

  35. Suspicious House Watch: Neighbors have reported suspicious activity at a house. Different individuals are frequently entering and leaving the property, and it is suspected that illegal items may be being sold. Monitor the house and its visitors from a safe distance, and take action when appropriate.

  36. Helicopter Pursuit Support: Ground units have requested air support during an active pursuit. Maintain visual contact with the suspect and relay their location to the ground teams.

  37. Helicopter Vehicle Verification: Police units have lost track of a suspicious vehicle. Obtain the necessary information from ground units, investigate the vehicle’s last known location, and report your findings if the vehicle is located.

  38. Brush Fire: Careless behavior and environmental factors can sometimes lead to fires. Respond to the scene, secure the area to prevent injuries, and notify the fire department before the fire spreads further.

  39. Coastal Callout: Individuals may be involved in illegal activities, hiding contraband, or requiring assistance at sea. Ensure the safety and security of the coastline and respond accordingly.

  40. Structure Fire: A building has been reported to be on fire, and there may be occupants trapped inside. Respond immediately, secure the scene, and rescue any civilians who may be in danger.

  41. Suspicious Cargo Inspection(new): Dock security reported that there is a trailer attached to the truck that needs to be checked. Talk to the truck driver, inspect the trailer, and take the necessary steps.

  42. Cargo Ship Research(new): Dozens of ships dock at the port every day and unload their cargo. But this time, a ship that seemed strange to the port officials docked. Before the cargo was unloaded, they asked the police to investigate the ship. Sea routes are notorious for smuggling.

Features

- West Coast Callout Menu
  1. Seat Belt: Seatbelt is a feature that ensures you wear a belt when you get into a vehicle and prevents you from being thrown out of the car in high-speed accidents.

  2. West Coast Callouts Los Santos: This feature was designed to make Los Santos more dynamic, realistic, and vibrant. It is performance-oriented and is disabled by default. If you are using any other mod that serves the same purpose as West Coast Callout Los Santos, it is recommended that you do not activate both at the same time.

  3. Delete Entity: Primarily, this feature allows you to remove vehicles and peds from the map. It lets you delete many things within certain limits to prevent Callout or anything else from ruining your gameplay.

  4. City Settings: This feature gives you complete but safe control over lspdfr. It targets lspdfr.ini and allows you to control it in-game. If any mod you are using performs the same function or targets as West Coast Callout City Settings, it is recommended that you do not change the settings.

- West Coast Callouts – Los Santos & City Settings

West Coast Callouts Los Santos

  • Dynamic Time-of-Day Population Control

This feature continuously evaluates the in-game clock to realistically shift the population density of Los Santos, making the world match the hour.

    • Rush Hour Chaos (06:00 - 09:00 & 16:00 - 19:00): Expect heavily packed streets. Vehicle and pedestrian counts surge, more cars are parked on side streets, and emergency services are on high alert with increased siren activity.

    • Late Night Lull (22:00 - 05:00): The city sleeps. Foot traffic and moving vehicles thin out significantly, while the number of parked cars increases as citizens head home.

  • Weather-Responsive Environments

Civilian and emergency behavior instantly adapts to changing atmospheric conditions.

    • Rain & Storms: Pedestrians clear out of the streets to seek shelter, while road traffic adapts. Expect an uptick in emergency vehicle dispatches due to hazardous conditions.

    • Fog & Snow: Significantly alters ambient vehicle behavior and range, accompanied by calibrated increases in emergency presence to keep the city safe.

  • Seamless Population Transitions

    • Zero Popping or Abrupt Spawns: Utilizing advanced smoothing algorithms, the mod gradually transitions density changes over time. You will never see cars or pedestrians suddenly materialize or vanish into thin air as the time or weather changes.

  • Living Ambient Emergency Services

The streets are shared with active first responders, bringing the map to life even when you aren't on a callout.

    • Diverse Service Spawns: Real-time spawning of ambient Law Enforcement units (Police 1-4), Ambulances, and Fire Trucks going about their duties.

    • Authentic Responding (Code 3): Spawned units have a dynamic chance to activate their sirens. Emergency vehicles responding with sirens will automatically push through traffic at higher cruise speeds, while non-responding units will cruise normally.

    • Intelligent Road Positioning: Units are programmed to spawn strictly on valid roadways and intersections within a realistic radius of the player, maintaining total immersion.

  • Performance-First Optimization

Built to protect your framerate and maintain game stability.

    • Strict Unit Caps: To keep your game running smoothly, a maximum of 4 ambient emergency units can be active at any single time.

    • Smart Garbage Collection: Ambient units automatically use an aggressive distance (420m) and lifetime (3 minutes) cleanup system. Once they are out of sight or expire, they are cleanly dismissed from memory.

    • Failsafe Script Handling: Includes automated cleanup handling upon plugin shutdown, ensuring no persistent vehicles or broken AI drivers are left behind to bloat your game save.

West Coast Callouts City Settings

  • Dispatch & World Activity

    • Dynamic Callout Frequency: Adjust how often dispatch feeds you calls with five custom tiers (Very Rare, Rare, Normal, Frequent, Very Frequent).

    • Ambient World Activity: Customize how alive the environment feels outside of active calls with Low to Very High intensity settings.

    • Simultaneous Event Caps: Dictate exactly how many background world events can trigger at the same time (scaled from 1 to 4) to control city chaos.

  • Ambient Law Enforcement Control

    • Ambient Police Toggle: Turn background AI police patrol generation on or off instantly.

    • Spawn Delay Customization: Dictate how quickly or slowly ambient police units regenerate on the map (Fast to Very Slow).

    • Local Density Limits: Set strict caps on both Nearby Cops and Active Spawned Cops in your immediate vicinity to balance immersion and performance.

  • Pursuit & Traffic Management

    • Chase AI Behavior: Toggle whether ambient civilian AI remains actively reactive or clears out entirely during active vehicle pursuits.

    • Pursuit Traffic Density: Scale down or ramp up the amount of civilian traffic blocking your paths during hot pursuits (Light to Very Heavy).

    • Traffic Performance Budgeting: Adjust the engine resource budget allocated to chase traffic to keep your framerate smooth during high-speed tracking.

  • Safety & Performance

    • Automated Backups: The menu automatically creates an lspdfr.ini.bak backup file before writing any changes, keeping your original configuration completely safe.

    • Smart Performance Clamps: Seamlessly syncs with West Coast Callouts Los Santos; when enabled, the system automatically clamps extreme traffic/police density values to safe limits, completely shielding your game from performance degradation or crashes.

    • One-Click Safe Defaults: Messed up your configuration? Instantly restore all settings back to reliable, crash-safe baseline defaults with a single click.

    • On-Screen Guidance: Includes interactive notifications detailing exactly how to quickly restart your sessions using the RAGE console (ReloadPlugins / ForceDuty) to implement changes.

Why does this look like every call out pack right now

Hello!
I understand your point and you have your right. But remember, this is the first version of the project. When people think of police mods in GTA, the first things that usually come to mind are limited features and similarities to other projects, especially in the early stages. What makes a project different comes later through expanded scenarios, increased outcome variety, new locations, and improved atmosphere.

Currently, in this project many callouts already have around five different outcomes. As mentioned in the future plans, existing callouts will continue to be developed, scenarios will become more detailed, dialogues will expand, and the number of event locations will increase to make them more exciting and immersive.

In the near future, the project will also include more than 30 callouts. All of this is already part of the future plans. With time and community support, anything is possible.

If you have a different callout suggestion(s), please let me know. Thanks for your time!

Just so you know I am not trying to be rude. I am just saying it has a lot of the same callouts as other packs out here. I mean if some more county callouts came out I would definitely download that beautiful beast.

Hello!

You can end/deactivate callouts with pressing "End" key or if you have PA then use police radio. Check ini file Debug part for it (EnableDebugEndKey). Also you can start any callout you want with just pressing F4, write StartCallout and then choose any callout you want play.

Thanks!

I'm sure Gelse meant a natural way to not get certain callouts randomly.

Well, I won't add feature that let players close some callouts so that they won't appear since game not forcing you to play any callouts. You only play it if you accept callout. But for you guys, I'll make that you can change Callout Probability so the ones you loved will appear more often while the ones you didn't enjoy as others will appear very rarely. I hope it'll be enough and make happy!

Well, you can disable callouts then by setting the chance to zero 🤷

Wish we can disabled/enable certain callouts in the ini like Gelse stated.

Hello!

Alright. If the players want it, it will be added.

Thanks!

i know about the functions of the game. but that's why i wanted to change it in the ini. callouts i don't want to play shouldn't be generated at all because it's wasting time and ressources. players don't want to sit around waiting for the right callout to generate. in the pool should only be callouts the player wants to have generated. 10 callout packs, almost every modder builds a pursuit and a store robbery, if you don't like these two you have you will have 20 callouts triggered which are you are not interested in. if every pack has this ini option to disable, you can use all 10 packs and never have to mess around by refusing assignments. it saves time, nerves and ressources. that's why players want this and it makes absolutely sense.

That will be added like I said up there and also with extra feature. I believe it'll give much more control to players about callouts. Thanks for your time and suggestion!
