[ELS] [ADD-ON] CHP Kawasaki Concours v. 1.0

 

This download contains the files for a ~2010 onwards CHP Kawasaki Concours 14.

 

After making the CHP Harley Davidson, I wanted to expand the options I had and thought the Kawasaki would be a good next step.  There are still some Kawasakis still in use today with the CHP, though they are mostly being replaced with the purchase of the BMW R1250RT-Ps.  That being said, the Kawasaki is still synonymous with the CHP all the way back to the KZ1000's used in the "CHiPs" TV-Series.

 

This is setup as an Add-On vehicle, mainly due to the extra changes that would be needed to the base game files to make it work.  My CHP Harley is still setup as a replacement and they work well together in game.

 

The bike is intended to be as accurate as possible to the CHP's Kawasakis, some of which are still in use today, however there may be some small inaccuracies.  The reflective livery, although simple, is also accurate to the CHP, with a lore-friendly version also included, both in 2k and 4k.

 

Extra 10 will toggle the radar units on the front and rear as this seems to be something that happens quite frequently with the CHP bike fleet.

 

If there are any issues or suggestions please feel free to leave them below and I will address them or incorporate them into any further work I do!

 

This is a solely ELS vehicle, if there is enough demand I would consider making a Non-ELS version as well.

 

Spawn name for the bike is chpkawasaki and will need to be spawned through a native trainer of your choice.

Just wanted to say: what an absolutely wonderful way to end 2022! 

Another proper bike add-on has been a big "want" for a while. Been using the old CHP BMW and Harley, but this is amazing! Well done on ELS lighting and model overall. I am glad to finally have a bike like this on the fleet. Thank you for making this amazing bike and releasing it for all to enjoy.

    If not, why not just unlock it and let Other people convert it to Non els?

    Not dead, but thank you for your concern.

     

    I tried making a Non-ELS version at the time of releasing this, (as well as the Harley), but was having difficulty and seen as out of 6k+ downloads only 4 people expressed an interest in one, I did not see it as a priority.  I haven't been involved in any modding for a year or so now and have drifted away from it.  If I ever come back to modding my files will always be posted here.

     

    I wouldn't be able to release an unlocked version of this as there are specific terms for the dev parts used that they be released in a locked state.  That being said, 75% of the parts are publicly available so you are welcome to create your own Non-ELS version of this.
