Indiana Codes (CompuLite) 2.5.0

(1 review)

9 Screenshots

All charges are set within the proper imprisonment timeframes as listed below. Fines on all criminal charges are set to highest amount as CompuLite Court will adjust like real life. Some infraction fines have been adjusted to a more “realistic” amount instead of all simple traffic fines being $500. All citations and charges have real Indiana Code statutes applied to them although not all are 100% accurate. For example, Indiana does not have a possession of weapon while intoxicated statute so I used the “Delivery of a deadly weapon to an intoxicated person” code and revised the statute name because it’s a game after all and why not. I know people like their warrant charges but since there’s not an additional charge for having a warrant, I added Failure To Appear statutes. Charge them the original offense and then apply the charge of FTA. If original charge is a felony, use the FTA felony…If it’s a misdemeanor, charge FTA misdemeanor. Petition To Revoke (PTR) added for probation and parole violations. NFA US Code added for all other NFA weapon violations that Indiana does not have statutes for.
•    Murder: 45-65 year imprisonment & fines up to $10,000
•    Level 1 Felony (1F): 20-40 year imprisonment & fines to $10,000
•    Level 2 Felony (2F): 10-30 year imprisonment & fines to $10,000
•    Level 3 Felony (3F): 3-16 year imprisonment & fines to $10,000
•    Level 4 Felony (4F): 2-12 year imprisonment & fines to $10,000
•    Level 5 Felony (5F): 1-6 year imprisonment & fines to $10,000
•    Level 6 Felony (6F): 6-30 month imprisonment & fines to $10,000
•    A Misdemeanor (AM): 6-12 month imprisonment & fines to $5,000
•    B Misdemeanor (BM): 2-6 month imprisonment & fines to $1,000
•    C Misdemeanor (CM): 0-2 month imprisonment & fines to $500
•    A Infraction (AI): Fines to $10,000
•    B Infraction (BI): Fines to $1,000
•    C Infraction (CI): Fines to $500
o    Majority of C Infractions are your vehicle violations in Indiana so I adjusted fine amount lower on a lot of the charges to be a little more accurate.
•    D Infraction (DI): Fine of $25

Hey mate, just wanted to say that you did a great job with it so far. Hoping that you will continue to update it!

Quick question though, will you be adding a section called "Warrants" or something like that, where we can charge them with an already outstanding warrant? If it is even realistic though, don't know much about American law system or however you call it.

Have a nice one!

Thank you! So a warrant is simply a charge that has been signed off by judge to arrest someone. They would just be charged with whatever the warrant is for. The "warrant" section is the "Failure To Appear/PTR". Let's say someone has a warrant for Battery-A Misd, you would still charge them with the Battery then you would go to "Failure To Appear/PTR" and charge them with (FTA) Misdemeanor as well. In reality this would mean they were released from jail and failed to show up for court which would then lead to the FTA warrant. If their warrant charge is a felony, then you would charge them the original offense and then (FTA) Felony as well. If you arrest someone who's on probation or parole, those violations are also under "Failure To Appear/PTR".

Indiana is home so I have knowledge of the codes and it was good to go through them for this. Wouldn't do another state now because I don't need another states laws confusing my brain lol

For traffic offense you should add a chance of having the license revoked or suspended

Do you mean adding a specific CDL suspension in Compulite instead of the standard suspension?

Standard suspension

Standard suspension

There already is an operating while suspended offense under "Motor Vehicle Documentation". The only arrestable offense for operating while suspended is with having a prior conviction for it. In Indiana operating while suspended is a class a infraction and you cannot be arrested for infractions.

I looked into the option. I see you can add suspensions but with it just being in the charge section, you wont see the suspension in the persons history so if you stopped someone with the conviction you wouldn't see the suspension length. If I ever have time and feel like including that I will but as of right now it doesn't feel necessary to me.

I got a question, there is a charge for suspended registration, how do you know that a suspect have a suspended registration ?

Not every charge will be applicable to the game. I started just listing the common charges from my quick sheet into compulite and then expanded from there.

Hey there!

I am currently undergoing a project called "USA Pack for ReportsPlus Mod", and am wondering if you would be willing to loan your charges and citations for use in this pack?

I can guarantee that you will get credit for all of your work!

Great job btw.
