Cool idea about this, I will definitely try this plugin in my game, i just lacked in my game the surrounding events around me, you somehow read my thoughts:) Thank you so much!)

I been requesting broken lights and you answered my requests.  Thank you so much.  Adds more immersion to traffic patrols.  Maybe you can add license plate lights broken and loud muffler?  But this is awesome.  No seat belt maybe with a blip when you get behind a car it will come up as your line of sight

I don't believe license plate lights exist in GTA V.  Not sure how viable loud muffler would be.  Can you see people wearing seatbelts in game?  I know your character can "put one on" and it prevents you from being launched through the windshield in a head-on collision, but I don't think you actually see the seatbelt?

Idk if you can see seat belts. Just thought maybe there was a way to put a blip on the map for a car next to you not wearing one.  I do see license plate lights on cars though.  But thanks for this amazing plugin.

Is there any reason why no ambient events are spawning? I left the timer on default and I have your Police Enhancements latest version 1.5.2.0.

I assume you didn't change their frequency in the settings.  They're off by default.

My ini file looks like this;

// Categorize the frequency of each ambient event (off, common, uncommon, rare)

AssaultFrequency=off
CarJackingFrequency=off
DrugDealFrequency=off
DriveByFrequency=off
ProstitutionFrequency=off
BOLOFrequency=off

I left those off since I'm not too keen on having them. So what about the other ambient things;

- No vehicle lights (minor event)

- Broken headlight/tail light (minor event)

- Reckless driving (minor event)

- Speeding (minor event)

- Broken windshield (minor event)

Are they also off by defaults? Cause I got blips turned on and the setting for ambient event is toggle to true.

Minor events are currently always on, but they do not use blips.

Do I need ambient events enabled in my LSPDFR.ini for these to spawn?

Is it possible to implement something to stop events from happening when at traffic stop. I called a traffic stop backup (with Ultimate Backup) when an assault even started just across the road. when the backup arrived they automatically detected that and initiated pursuit, and because AI is stupid they ran into my cop car and run me over. they just shot and killed the suspect and went with their day as normal. It's not game braking issue but it's annoying.

There is a setting in the ini called DisableEventsWhilePlayerIsBusy, but I believe it only works for callouts and pursuits.  I can add traffic stops to the next update, so setting that to true would solve your problem.

Well that explains a few speeding cars and reckless driving.. I thought they were blips so I thought these cars were just Gta being Gta you know. I'd love a blip for these ambient events, or maybe a text box over the map pretending some witness is screaming that [current event] is taking place to make you more alert.

The reason they don't have blips is because they're handled slightly differently than normal events, but I'll implement something for the next update.

I saw a lot of event started via the console but nothing in game and i'm surprise to see that it end right after it start, can you tell me if he is running correctly please ?

Events start every 3min (wich i put into .ini) but it's hard for me to find one in game 🥺

The minor events are working as intended, they just don't have blips to show you.  They work slightly differently than the normal events, and are actually on their own timer which you cannot change.  However, I've received other feedback about this and I have made some changes.  Patrons are testing the next update right now, and I'll upload it publicly when they're done testing.

Just keep in mind that at this time it's still very WIP.  Some pullover positions may be buggy.

the new version crashes all the time , I appreciate the good ideas the work and the time it takes , but every time it takes a lot of experimentation before making it go well , for now , download and install the previous version , little by little it continues so step by step, for a better immersion of lspdfr

If you want the problems you're experiencing to be fixed, I encourage you to follow the directions in the Support section.
