I appreciate the thought behind the mod, but of all the taxis and taxi mods out there, you chose to put a real person with his real face on a LORE car, in a universe where people don't protest. 0 / 10 my immersion is ruined.

im not saying im requiring you to use this but with all thats going on in the world, this could be helpful. especially if you are a gta content creator and support the BLM movement, promoting this to your fans is a small step to freedom and equality for black people.

i did it for the LA cab too because i wasn't sure on the most popular model of taxi people are using. I figured a lot of people would use vanilla vehicles too so if they wanted this, it is available to them too. sorry if it doesn't live up to your standards, i was just trying to bring something nice into the game, especially as this is one of my first skins. Also there are protest plugins and if you wanted to do a protest for BLM in game then you could... lore friendly or not. If you want i can get rid of george floyd and put Franklin on there idk

The house fire is a poor fucking example. I am a volunteer firefighter, thats something we do. Its called defensive firefighting where we protect exposures of other buildings. Dont try to use a example you know nothing about.

you dont need to take it so literally. if you are so bothered, if you were bleeding badly, and you called an ambulance, you wouldn't expect them to go round and but band aids and pressure on their bodies because there is nothing wrong with them. And you are just left there to bleed.

Of course all lives matter. No doubt that's a true statement. However, you're completely missing the target of what the Black Lives Matter movement represents. That phrase is in no way meant to exclude or belittle anyone. I'm sorry if you've read that or heard that it does elsewhere, but that source of information is incorrect. The purpose of the phrase and the movement is to emphasize violence and systemic racism. You might think they should've picked a better name that isn't so provocative. Most movements throughout history had something provocative about them to cause discourse. It's a necessary part in order to open up a pathway for everyone to talk. Please by no means continue to believe that Black Lives Matter has something to do with black lives being more important than any other race, age, sexuality, ethnicity, or gender. That notion is unfortunately wrong and a distraction to the true purpose. All lives do matter. If you truly believe that, then you have to believe that we all are created equally and that we all should fight against social injustices.

Take it from us people who want to game for a few hours and get away from reality. The Media shoves this down everyone's throats and its repetitive. And hobbies are meant to distract you for a few hours to escape reality and all the B.S. and dont take this statement and turn it around to say I am not for BLM but It does take a toll on people hearing it every hours of the day. TV, Radio and internet outlets.

No offence taken and by no means am I saying you or anyone one here is purporting to be one way or another. I agree with the use of hobbies and as a modding community everyone is free to use what they want in their games. My original comment was to provide information in response to the comment made by @LukeDaus. For those that don't want to use this file, all you gotta do is head on to the next file out there. Personally, I probably would've kept on to the next file myself, but comments like that are going to start conversations and sometimes arguments as seen above. The file itself being posted started a conversation. The comments sections probably isn't the best platform for this conversation, but at the same time I didn't start it. I agree the media blows things out of proportion. That's why conversations between everyday people like you and me are way more effective.

There are many comments here about this mod not being good or unnecessarily, but i think this is a nice way of showing support for the BLM movement and doesn't deserve all the hate it gets

Im sorry if anyone feels like i made the wrong decision posting this mod, i understand that you want to escape reality, but im not asking you to sit and stare at thisw post for 10 hours, like this man said, move onto the next one. Someone might want to use this, and i am offering it to them. If you are not bothered about this mod, move on.

News flash, this is real life where political differences exist. If you don't want to use it leave, these comments aren't for debates, they're for feedback for futures mods i make.

 This mod is politically motivated so be ready for some people to oppose its mere existence, especially considering the current political division within our society. Also, you were just whining that no one was congratulating you and supporting your movement, that's not really how a typical comment section unfolds on lspdfr, and it is definitely not a good strategy for gaining any support.

i didnt mean i expected support for the movement, i expected support as its one of my first mods and there was alot of trial and error and i thought people would prefer to commend new modders then bring them down

Look at other mods on this site, the comments are either congratulating their work or complaining that it does not work. When you add a political element to that, then people are more likely to oppose your view (that's what i was referring to). As for the mod itself, it actually looks like it works, so you did something right (i actually downloaded it). I also apologize for muddying up your comment section with political rhetoric.

Make a protestor mod so we could do our JOB!
