[EUP] Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) Uniform Pack 1.0.0

(0 reviews)

7 Screenshots

Based on the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) in Ontario, Canada.  Are they perfect?  No.  But they still make the game more fun.

OIV installation file included for easy installation as its own DLC pack!

Uniforms included:

1) Front-line Officer short-sleeve & long-sleeve

2) Special Response Unit (SRU) short-sleeve & long-sleeve

3) Front-line Officer jacket & gloves

Be sure to 'Follow' this download so that you receive notifications when updates are posted!

IMPORTANT - these texture files will overwrite some of the default EUP textures, so it may "break" some of the default EUP uniforms (they will look weird).  As always, please back up any files before modifying them!  Of course, this download being its own DLC pack, it is very easy to uninstall if you decide.

What is included in the download?

1) OIV installation file

2) LSPDFR outfits.xml file so that you can easily enable AI officers to use your new WRPS uniforms (you must edit your own agency.xml and backup.xml files)

3) EUP Menu wardrobe.ini file so that you can easily dress your own character in your new WRPS uniforms

*** PLEASE DO NOT MODIFY OR RE-UPLOAD ANYWHERE OR TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS WORK! ***

This is what you'll need: (I also highly recommend EUP Menu)

This works well with some of my other WRPS downloads available...

Awesome pack and pretty accurate. Would love to see a Toronto EUP pack too. Love your work!!

Thanks for the compliment!! Glad you're enjoying some of the stuff I've shared.  I thought for sure there would already be a Toronto EUP pack given how popular TPS is on here.  However after a quick search it appears that we are indeed in need of a TPS EUP pack.  Maybe I'll add that to the list to work on.  Appreciate the suggestion!

Yes, you can use the XML files located in your GTA V directory under lspdfr/data.  Those files dictate what the AI police/fire/ems backup looks like.  So you could configure them to use the WRPS uniforms.  There is a sample outfits.xml file in the download.  You'll just have to update your Agency.xml and possibly Backup.xml files to use the new outfits.

I’ve installed the uniforms and I have the latest EUP but when I am changing uniforms in EUP it’ll give me the wrps vest , coat and hat but not the pants and short sleeve shirt

The latest version of EUP significantly changed the clothing models, breaking lots of things.  If you download an older version of EUP (version 8.1 - hint: check on YouTube), then these WRPS uniforms should work.

@easton1110 At some point when work is less busy, I would like to update the uniforms for EUP 8.2.  Not sure when that will be though.  I was able to find the older version of EUP 8.1 by looking for a video on YouTube.

@sosezi If you look in my OPP Police Stations download, it has the necessary files for the Canadian flags.

I installed the OIV file and when I try to use the uniforms via the EUP menu on the wardrobes page I do not get a correct looking uniform. Did I do something wrong? I didn't modify the outfits.xml file as I first just want to make sure it works on my own character before getting AI to do it. I did add to the wardrobes file and see all the different options listed in game. They just don't look right at all and have a lot of clipping clothing. I have both EUP packs. I have it installed in the mods folder when I used the OIV package installer but I assume that is fine.

I have used this in the past without issues but that was many months ago so I am unsure if I messed up this time or if an update broke something?

My guess is that you're using a newer version of EUP. This works with EUP 8.1 only. For some reason they changed a ton of stuff in EUP 8.2 which typically shouldn't be done for a minor version release.  I haven't taken the time to update this pack for EUP 8.2+ yet. Uninstall EUP 8.2, find and install EUP 8.1, and then reinstall this pack and you should be good.

Ah okay, that may be the problem then as I simply grabbed the latest version of EUP without thinking that a minor version difference would be an issue. Once LSPDFR and RagePlugin get updated for the latest GTA update I'll give it a shot again with the older EUP version. These are the only uniforms I use anyway so I really have no need for EUP 8.2 anyway :).

Edit: Unfortunately EUP doesn't seem to have the old versions on their project pages and only has the latest versions 😞
