If you don't like the emssisive textures i've used, i've included different ones that use the "standard" ones. 

 

INSTILLATION INSTRUCTIONS
================================
-To install the vehicle models themselves, simply place them in your latest patch day in your mods folder.
I have installed the vehicles in my game to patchday10 where i have found the most success in them working.

 

-To install the vehicles meta file, navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5
Or the spot you put your metas in. Simply copy over this line over the existing police3 line.

 

-To install the VCF file, navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default
and place it in there.

 

-If you wish to install this vehicle to another slot, simply change the name of the vehicle, and change in the vehicle meta,
the handling line the slot uses to police3. 

 

PACK NOTES
=================================

- I have included separate emissive textures. Some people may not like the ones I have on so its simple to install.

 

- These vehicles are quite large in file size, so I apologize if they are very hard on your computer!

 

- This is similar to the previous vehicle I have released, but I have redone the vehicle to work with ELS.

 

- The interiors have been updated heavily, so that they reflect the real life counterparts, also featuring better looking textures.1

 

- To get the vehicle to look pretty, I recommend using the VCF that I have inculuded with the file. 

 

- If there are any questions I haven't put below, please feel free to post in the comments section! 

 

- If a few bugs with the models, which if you find, feel free to post in the comment section and ill try my best to fix them!


COMMON QUESTIONS
=================================

Q: Why aren't my lights bright?
A: You do not have light-enhancing mods installed. Download RadianceV and/or, Install my emissive bits into your visual settings,
or other mods that increase emergency lighting brightness.

 

Q: Will you please help me ins--
A: Did you read the readme? No? The installation is simple.

 

Q: I don't have Patchday10/anything else?
A: Then put the car in your latest patch day, or copy patchday10/anything else over.
 
Q: Why does my game crash after I install the car/meta/carcol?
A: I don't know, it works in my game. Make sure you have no spaces when you copied the line. 

 

Q: Will you send me ______?
A: No.

 

Q: Can I make skins for this vehicle?
A: By all means, go ahead, just dont re-upload the vehicle model itself.

 

Q: Does this vehicle use the same template as your other Utility/Other utilities.
A: Yes it does!

-Added brand new Base model to both slicktop and marked units.

-Lowered file size on both slightly.

-Remapped interior to be less "noisy".

-Fixed issues with ELS flashing strangely.

Hey Thehurk, first of all, thank you for this great modell, but I have one question. Before the update the takedown lights doesn´t working for me, now it works, but the alley/scene lights still not working for me. Maybe they are not included or it's my fault?

this file you are commenting on is the ELS version, i have a very similar version for non ELS, judging by your screens, you dont have the ELS version in.

What do you mean the scenes and alleys aren't working?

I guess the first thing I should say is..You've really outdone yourself on this model. There's other police SUVs, but I notice most of them don't really have a finished interior. The interior of this one is..Well, it's just beautiful. Infact, the whole model is beautiful. My absolute favorite model used to be BXbuggs Dodge Charger, but..I think this is my NEW favorite..It definitely gets five stars from me.

 

Now, I've run into an issue where once I enter the vehicle, and the lights turn on, the lightbar ALSO turns on..But the lights are stuck. They're not flashing. I've read the installation over and over..And the ONLY thing I can think of that I did incorrectly, was installing the meta file. I always have trouble with the meta files, because there's j ust so much text, and it's kind of disorienting for my eyes..Although I'm SURE I placed it correctly, otherwise the game would crash..

 

This is giving me such a headache..Ontop of that, I've installed ELS but I'm having trouble with it because I'm having trouble with THIS vehicle..But I NEED this vehicle in my pursuits..From the moment I saw it, I absolutely had to have it. I need to fix this.

I'm so sorry for double posting. It wouldn't let me edit the last post, anymore. But..I just wanted to say that I figured it out. I have no idea how..I searched for every instance of police3 in my GTA folder, and replaced each one..After putting them in the mods folder, of course..And then I installed ELS. When I started the game and spawned, the lights wouldn't work at first, but then I hit J, and..They just went off. I'm only saying this because I did see someone else in here with the same problem, and I got the idea to replace every instance of police3 from a thread. So, you know..Good to know. Now I'm just figuring out the controls for ELS. It's a lot more indepth than I thought.

You must have change the light color, because the headlights show yellowish light instead of white light!

no, it doesn't. The non-ELS version does.

Dang that sucks this model would have been perfect if it had ALPR. I love the ELS version over the non-ELS, it just would have been the cherry on top if it did though.

Unfortunately i couldn't fit the ALPRs in the vehicle as i only have 3 extras to use, one was used for takedowns and the others was used for wraps and pushbars

    I was having issues trying to get sirens, and the only way I could was to use the focus camera key binding.

    i got a question i made a 13 explorer i want to know if i give you the files you can put all your lights of the mark unit you have  into it i im not planning on releasing it or anything like that these is just for my personal use please get back to me with an answer thank you

    I use it on POLICE3 slot as default it is but car acceleration speed is too high on this slot. Does any one knows where I can find proper values for POLICE3 slot?

    If youre using it in the police 3 slot and its accelerating too fast, try installing the vehicle meta line. The handling will be changed to Gresley.
