Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

Any have v2189 and have a bug with ELS? I'm having an issue where the sirens are all distorted and enabling my lights not my sirens sounds the blip sound. I tried LSPDFR without ELS and everything worked fine. I have re installed GTA, LSPDFR, all of my addons, ScriptHookV, AdvancedHookV, to diagnose the problem and ELS is it. I'm using a custom sound pack which Installed because the default sirens had the same issue.

I have the script hook v and the mod LSPDFR, everything is working, but i'm trying use the mod ELS , but it's not working, there are some bug with the currently version game ?
someone know that?

Same here. I don't think ELS is compatible with any other files because GTA itself was updated and everything else had to update (Rage hook, Advanced Hook, ScripthookV, etc) and ELS is my only file that hasn't told me to update, nor can I find an update

    Hey guys, 

     

    i need help. I just tried everything and els still wont work for me. I did reinstall all in asi manager, i checked if all .xml files are in the default folder and i checked if my anti-virus system is blocking els... maybe its because of my car pack but the els menu ctrl+p wont open too. I tried reinstalling my car pack but did not work.

    This is the pack i am using:

    advancedhook.dll keeps crashing the game. My games always worked fine with it until this latest update to gta. Please fix soon

    Hey guys, I had issues with ELS and ended up reinstalling GTA, this did fix my issue. Clearly there is some hidden file/code that affects ELS in the latest version and in some cases requires a complete reinstall, I recommend doing this!

    Hey man no lie i actually reinstalled 4 times over the past 2 days. Advancedhook.dll just needs an update. Game runs perfect without it. the second you drop the file in the directory the game fails to load up. (edit: looked in my els log and found a bunch of faulty Vcf's removed them and loaded up the game with advancedhook.dll and Els works fine 😄 )

    Make sure .XML files is in the \GTAV\ELS\pack_default.

    Glad I'm not the only one having issues.  I just started playing LCPDFR again and can't get ELS to work.  The sirens work.  All the keys for them will work.  But the lights don't  The lightbars for ELS vehicles are just not there, includinghe in-game police cruiser.  I've tripled checked files and everything is installed right.  And considering the sirens/sound works, it seems I'm installed right.  But no lights.cvar.thumb.png.634b53b6d3f06b70d1f67b8c1e1afdd2.png

    so did advancehook update because thats whats crashing my game and els  cant wotk without it
