Hello!

 

This is the ELS version of the one i released the other day. 

 

**This is the first EVER time i have tried to make an ELS vehicle. There really isnt much info out there. I have done my very best to make this work and included a .xml that i think is correct. I'm new to ELS and not 100% sure this is correct. If there is ANYTHING wrong and you know the solution please please let me know!**

if there are no complaints with this conversion then i will re-release all my old popular cars with ELS too. So please if there is anything wrong or anything that i should have difrent (I.E. extras are wrong) PLEASE tell me.

Here we have the new 2023 tesla model Y

 

This vehicle certainly has a functional over prety athsteic when it comes to the lights. 

Ive decided to base the lights on a UK police force who is running these teslas IRL. 

They claim to be using so many small globe lights to conserve electricity over standard multi led lights which i guess makes sense. But it certainly does give a interesing look. 

 

It does have a fully mapped exterior with template provided. 

 

as per-ususal, I have mapped out each individual light onto a single texture which can be edited to your hearts desire. Just simply use the pre scaled textures provided or make your own. I have included both a Red & Blue version and a Blue & Blue version.

Finally, an ELS Tesla! I cannot wait for a Model X Tesla model! All I could find were non-els, but man, the Model Y is looking GREAT! Thanks for the release lass!

Could you please let me know if this is 'setup right' 

 

Ive been doing Non-ELS cars for 5 years and never tried ELS 🤦‍♂️
But i get ALOT of people asking for ELS versions of my vehicles so thought i would give it a try.

    I cant see why not, But i dont know enough about single player to say 100% 

     

    My NON-ELS release will work in single player if you know how to set it up though.

    glad that you decided to do one for ELS. I been seeking one from Tesla. 

     

    I would like a better lightbar, but at least there is a Tesla to use lol.

    "UPDATE" I installed this vehicle into my lspdfr. But for some reason, the skin does not work right. The skin starts to flicker around, i'm not sure if its because I added a 2023 Tesla lapd skin in there or not, but is this car able to take skin?

    Thanks for this 🙂 The ELS is great, i would like to ask, the lights on the car, is it me or is it "low" on the light? I mean, they dont light up so much on dark nights.

    Interesting, Ive not tried to put a livery on this vehicle my self.

     

    I will look into this over the next few days and see if there is an issue on my end. (Although, The author of the livery you are using does use my edit of the vehicle in their screenshots, so it seems more likely to be an issue on your end.)

    Glad to hear you like it 🙂

     

    Sadly, when using any form of Globe lights GTA does make them appear darker in game. 

    There isnt much i can do about it other than reccomend a visual pack which will make all lights brighter.

    I tryed with this

     

    and i did down scale it to 2048 and i did not have any problems.

    That is the one I tried... it causes glitches. I am pretty sure I did it right since I did a lot of skin textures on several model vehicles.

    Thats odd, i just tryed again and i still get no errors/glitches with the texture on 2048.

    @GlitchCraft, i like to ask, have you made red and blue lights for this? If not, could you tell me what texture i need to edit to try red and blue setup for my own use?

    Weird cuz I use the Non Els version with 2, 8K skins on it no problem!

    It works now with your other skins. I am trying the LAPD skin now and see if that will cause any issues.

    Hey! 

     

    In the template folder there should be a file called 'Glitchcraft_lights.dds' 

    If you open this in photoshop you can place the prescaled light textures over the template and make any light colour setup you like! 

     

    I know that no other vehicles have anything quite like this (Atleast all in one file) but i think its ace for those who want to be able to customise the ligths.
