If it is that big of a deal buy zModeller yourself then you can do what you want and not complain that you don't like it.

A simple reccomendation would have gone:
"You should add headlight flashers"
"No thanks, not all departments use them, and some people don't like them"
"Alright that's fine, I will look for another model that has them."
