Fire Callouts ( Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Extraction Saw & More) 1.4.0

(19 reviews)

7 Screenshots

Fire Callouts is a plugin for LSPDFR to add fire department related callouts. There are currently 14 exciting callouts!

With Fire Callouts I aim to add unique callouts to LSPDFR that places you to the shoes of a firefighter in Los Santos County. There are currently 14 callouts with many more to come from structure fires to car accidents. Moreover, there is a new feature the extraction saw! Use it to save lifes from wrecked car and multi vehicle accidents. You can use it to cut doors, hoods and trunks to free those poor souls.

If you want support and to get the latest version join my discord!

This version ( 1.4.0) will be the last version available to the public for a little while until I add more features like the fire hose and many more.

Early Access to Version 1.5.0 is available for Patreons and it includes the first hose prototype and new callouts like wildfire, fire in aicraft carrier, fires in LSIA and more.

Here you can find my Patreon

Please Note: You have to manually end the callout by pressing the “END” key. You can change it easily in the .ini file included.

  • "F2" to open the Main Menu.
  • "K" to use your SCBA.
  • "L" to use your flashlight.

The BIG Thank you section

First of all I want to express my gratitude to OJdoesIt and alexguire. Alexguire was an amazing help. Most of the saw code and more is made by him. Without their help I wouldn’t be able to make the extraction saw to work.  Furthermore Albo1125's and SuperPyroManiac's open sourced plugins were an amazing help.  Also, Many many thanks to the GTA5 Mods and LSPDFR Lounge Discord servers and their members for all their help. Moreover, thanks to Supreme Commander (or Anders) for testing the callouts and providing some awesome screenshots. Finally, a huge shoutout to PNWParksFan. He is an amazing guy and he has helped me countless times. He helped with so many things I need a whole page just to write them!

And at this point I would also like to apologize to SuperPyroManiac. On the first version there were some things left on the code which didn't belong to me. Many thanks to him for being understanding about that.

Thank you Acepilot2k17 for the awesome videos Check them out below!

Check out an other awesome video by FirstThirtyMinutes!

To fully enjoy the mod I suggest using the following mods:

  •  EUP Menu with Serve and Protect ( for the firefighter uniform).
  •  Coastal Callouts by PNWParksFan, found here in LCPDFR downloads section. The are so many new features with this one that its a must for a better experience.
  •  Stop the Ped ( for more interaction and immersion, those sweet animations for medics and coroners and more!).

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  •  Do not re-distribute this mod.
  •  If you want to give this mod to someone, do not share the files, instead give them the LCPDFR.com or GTAPOLICEMODS.com  download link.
  •  If you want to use the callouts in a video you are more than welcome to do so! Just, post the download link in the description!

CHANGELOG Version 1.3.0

Spoiler

Fire Callouts 1.3.0  Update

  • Added a new callout fallen tree (use your saw to cut it)
  • Added a new Five Alarm Callout, this time at O'Neil Ranch.
  • Added one more structure fire location - abandoned motel in sandy shores, pretty cool location thanks to capdiego for suggesting it!

 CHANGELOG Version 1.2.0

Spoiler

Fire Callouts 1.2.0 Major Update. Make sure to update!

Make sure to replace all the files!

  • Added a Main menu in which you can get equipment ( including a fire extinguish with infinite ammo) and force a callout from this pack.
  • Added a new callout: House fire.
  • Added a new callout: Five Alarm Fire .
  • Added a new callout: RTC with multiple victims.
  • Added Paleto bay fire station as a blip.
  • Added 5 more structure fire locations
  • Changed fire station blip sprites to something better ( I guess at least).
  • Made the fire station blips to appear on radar. If you dont like it please tell me and I will change it, to show only on map.
  • Changed dispatch icon to a more fire-related one ( thanks to sEbi3 for his help on this).
  • Reworked Aircraft Crash callout- now there is more fire.

What's New in Version 1.4.0

Released

Fire Callouts 1.4.0 Update. Make sure to update, by replacing all the files ( Drag and Drop)!

  • Added a total of 4 new Callouts!
  • Added Smoke effects. Now you know when there is a working fire and when not!
  • Added Hazmat Callout in Humane Labs.
  • Added 2 Callouts in Fort Zancudo. One is an ATC Fire( scripted like the 5 alarm ones) and the other is 4 locations with working fires around the Fort.
  • Added Helmet Flashlight (Thanks to PNWParksFan for his help on this).
  • Added the first raw medical callout (simple one for now I will create an interaction system soon).
  • Added simple SCBA script, along with sound for it (Basically makes you fireproof when you have the tank opened).
  • Added sound for Saw, one small bug is that if you hit a surface and you dont cut it the sound will play till the end. You can bypass that by pressing the K button twice (for the scba).
  • Added Capability for CPR.
  • Added Death Report for unsuccesful CPR. Please not that on callouts that the ped is killed ( from the creator of the callout) the death report will always say death by fall. I can't do something about that.
  • Added .pdb file for better error reporting.

I see a lot of people are asking for this so maybe I will add something in the future. But first my priority is to add more content

i see that there is a .xml of the fire station locations. so does that mean that if we have custom fire stations we can put in the coordinates of the station and it'll use the coordinates to populate calls near that area? if so that'd be pretty cool!

yes you can add your own fire stations, you just need the coordinates. Most of the calls spawn around the player. Brush fires and structure fires however have a predefined location. Structure fire are all over the place so you will sure get some near you. Brush fires might be a bit far thought.

Just saw that a new update is posted.  Gonna try that out as soon as it gets approved.  I'm already enjoying what's present and can't wait to see more.

Yep, the changelog has me excited.  So far I'm loving the callout pack.  One thing I've noticed is that despite being told to conduct a primary search for more victims, there aren't any present in the structure fire.

Its really random. In some shops the shopkeeper will spawn and on some others he wont.

Ah, good to know.  I'll keep an eye out then.  Thanks for making this pack, I never got to try out RescueV or the other firefighting mods so I was genuinely delighted when I came across this last night.

This is such an awesome callout pack! I love Fire/EMT services, and this is just AMAZING! Agency Callouts has a lot of crashes so I am unable to run that effectively, however I know this will eventually take over as my main pack. I do really want to see you develop EMT callouts eventually, however Fire is an amazing place to start. I noticed in videos of this callout that you can have other firefighters with you that will help extinguish the flames, how do I do this as well? Ultimate Backup is tailored to Police, so if I try to spawn a partner I can only spawn one and they use a tazer instead of a fire extinguisher.

Love your work!

how come its taking so long to approve this file?

One thing that might be cool, would be flashovers/backdrafts.  While the actual chemistry is far more complex than what I'm about to lay out, I think they could be implemented like this: Upon reaching the fire scene, you get a time limit until conditions are at the point where a flashover will occur.  The timer starts counting down, and when you have a minute or so left you get a warning for an imminent flashover.  Once that final minute expires, you could have an explosion spawn in the building.  I don't know the first thing about scripting for this game so I can't speak for how difficult this would be but I think it would make a great addition if its feasible.

Oh my... It was a handling line, I changed it to BUS because I tried a long ladder truck and on FIRETRUK line the brake were bad an tyres were screeching all the time, now i switch back to FIRETRUK and the cannon works again. I feel so dumb. Thanks for the tip. I never expected handling line could have something to do with it.
