LCPD VAPID CRUISER - FED SIG VISION 1.0

BRIEF SUMMARY

This is a vehicle modification which replaces the Police Cruiser (or any other police vehicle of your choosing), with a Vapid Police Cruiser with a Non ELS Federal Signal Vision lightbar.

MAIN FEATURES

  • This model possess a unique, Non ELS Federal Signal Vision lightbar
  • Indicator lights are built into the rear of the lightbar, and are fully compatible with the Indicator Mod.
  • Low poly count, default model which fits in well with the game.
  • Higher quality textures, inspired by Lt.Caine's LCPD liveries.

ANYTHING ELSE

  • Model is original Police Cruiser by Rockstar Games
  • Main textures are an improved, higher quality version of the originals, inspired by Lt.Caine's LCPD livery designs.
  • Lightbar is Lt.Caine's Federal Signal Vision ELS, modified to a non-ELS configuration by Sam

NOTE

This model is provided in its unlocked form in order to encourage members of the GTAIV police modding community to further develop their talents. Use and modification of this model is therefore authorized, but fair credit is expected to be given in all circumstances as a matter of respect and decency.NB: This model uses default police livery texture mapping, as it is an attempt to simply improve the original police cruiser. Therefore, there is no texture template.

If you mean the "police2" model, I tried but there seems to be a weird bug where the windows cause the game to crash if shot at or collided with. I know that it is something that Lt.Caine has on all of his "POLP" models and mine were no exception. It must just be some sort of export bug with that model, so I can't really work with it.

My CVPI had that problem. I wish I could tell you how I fixed it, but I don't remember. You can however possibly create new glass and or the window collisions/dummies.

Great one! Is there any chance of seeing an unmarked Vapid in the future? I've been back to IV's original cars for some time now but I'd still prefer an unmarked "Crown Vic" style car over the FIB Buffalo...

    There is a bug with the default police2 model but I somehow got around it by using the Merit model. Nice job done here and with your other improved vehicles, I'm sure many people will love them such as I do.

    Awesome job Sam. Although I have one issue. Apparently, installing this makes my camera angle go a bit weird. The center of the camera is focused on the roof of the car, instead of the road ahead. It's as if the camera is too low, and I keep running into things. When I removed your cruiser it was all fine, what's up with that?
