I noticed I might have posted this thread in the wrong support forum. I didn't realize LCPDFR had its own little corner. Sorry about that. While the install problem is still unsolved I managed to get the mod running by asking a friend, for whom the installer works, to install the mod into an empty folder to get a hold of the mod files and then send me these. Then I simply put the files in my GTA folder, started the game and voilá, everything works! Might help someone else, if you can get a hold of the files. Ps. I tried to install the mod in an empty folder myself but the exact error message as above was shown proving that the problem lies with the installer not liking my computer rather than with my GTA files. Just thought I'd let you know. Great mod btw! Peace out!

Hi! Couldn't find a thread regarding this problem so I started my own. I've a legit fully updated copy of GTA, removed "read only", ran the installer as administrator, unticked "taser" but the same error reoccurs when the installation process begins. Help is appreciated!
