  1. no problem is appearing though, other then gta reading the wrong gpu, there is nothing in the catalyst control center that's helpful
  2. Hello, sorry all for the late response, after reading what everyone said about the graphics card I just opened up my computer and verified that I do have a amd radeon hd 8570 installed OEM. I can also verify this through the task manager, Now I just bought this PC literally 3 weeks ago and after hearing about everyone running max settings while using Windows 8 I know it can be done, I have since turned my settings way way down and it runs somewhat smoother, But nothing next to what it should be, so there is obviously something out of whack I appreciate your guys support and will continue to troubleshoot, I want to play this so bad, Ive put over 10 hours into fiddling around with things to try and get this to work...I only have 1 graphic card installed and I have tried to go online and update the drivers but I cant find any at all, is it because its an OEM model? The driver has a very recent date and I have tried to update the driver via device manager and it says the driver is up to date.....Thanks Guys
  3. Im really starting to think windows 8 is the problem IDK just a feeling aside from gaming I will say it is amazing once you get the hang of it. Fast as hell... Also should I really have to turn my settings down when my GPU and CPU usage are both below 50% usage?
  4. I just checked my Windows Virtual memory and it says... Total paging file size for all drives: 1472 mb Is that good or should I change it
  5. ok so heres my problem, I just purchased a brand new computer and here are the specs: Windows 8 64x 2nd gen Intel Core i7-3820 (3.6ghz 10mb shared cache) 2gb amd radeon hd 8570 (dx11) 10gb ddr3-1600mhz sdram 2tb 7200 rpm sata hard drive 460w power supply so I bought this computer specifically so I could play lcpdfr. My problem is GTA is lagging horribly and ive probably read a good 200 forums on possible fixes and have tried a lot but to no avail there has been no improvement. I will post my benchmark from GTA, I originally thought I was having stuttering issues but with only 20.15 fps Im thinking not. If anyone could provide a straight forward answer or possibly some feed back on my GPU which I think is decent enough but who knows, I realize it could also be some sort of issue with windows 8 as well, Ive watched plenty of lcpdfr multiplayer videos on youtube and people have this game running like silk, I would love to be able to enjoy lcpdfr with flawless fps and silky smooth gameplay with high graphics, Im almost certain my computer is capable, PLEASE HELP, thanks, matt. PS I also just noticed that gta is reading a different graphics card than I actually Have....... Benchmark: Average FPS: 20.8 CPU Usage: 14% System memory usage: 40% Video memory usage: 38% Video Mode: 1920x1080 (60hz) Texture quality: High Reflection Resolution: High Water Quality: High Shadow Quality: High Texture Filter Quality: Anisotropic x4 Night Shadows: Off View Distance: 25 Detail Distance: 31 Definition: On vsync: Off Video Adapter: Nvidia Geforce 9600GT
