I have used this before even with a police car in the save spot and it has been fine until one day it kept coming up with the error. It happens when I enter a police vehicle or try to enter the police station the game crashes. Actually, I did mod that car, what do you suggest I do? I managed to get it working again once but now it's crashing again. Now I am getting an error with Spark IV when I click on GTA IV.

Yes, it was something like that. Now I just put a new mod in called Improved police cops v2.1 and it crashes and says GTA IV has stopped responding. I also have modified original police cars to work with ELS 7 but whenever I do the +livery for it in the vehicle.ini file, it crashes. I'm just going to put back the original cd images and get a different police pack and see if it works. Update Still getting that fatal error thing with different custom police vehicles.

Well, I re-downloaded the game and the issue is still there. Will manually removing the scripts help this issue? I have also verified the integrity cache. ~UPDATE~ I have just found out what the issue is, it was the ELS files for the custom vehicles, I just deleted them and put them in again and no more crashing.

When in-game I run LCPDFR and then I go to a police station but when I go to the red marker at the front of the police station the game crashes and says: "GTA IV FATAL ERROR: Uncoverable fault - Please restart the game", I don't get why it is doing that now, it used to work just fine. I have custom skins for the police cars using the modified original police car skins to work with ELS 7. I've done a diagnostic test and it says it's not installed but yet it is. Don't worry, I might just have to re-download the whole game to fix it.

I have an issue in the game that when I open doors or close doors on vehicles the car door that I'm opening closes and open 3 times while the guy is getting in or out and then does it properly. I don't know whether it's because of the skins or not.

So, for this skin I want to put in: 2013 Ford Police Interceptor - Liberty City Police Department (ELS7) Which files of the Modified Default Vehicles Pack 1.0 R1 do I not put in?

Say for instance I want to get this: When I got the skin pack that you helped me with, I needed to put in +livery in the vehicles.ide file. Will I need to remove that from the police skin I'm wanting to change or will it not affect the skin in anyway?

What do you mean by "it will use different liveries"? Also, if I decide I want another skin for a police vehicle will I have to get rid of the +leveries for the vehicle skin I decide to get for it to work?

Yes, the skins on the vehicles looked different. But then they disappeared.

Well, on the LCPDFR vehicle selection part I did a full sweep of each car and the skin was in place, but when I did a second sweep the skin disappeared.

Rebuild in Spark IV? All I do is click import and save.

It crashed again. I just walked out of the door to the house and it crashed. I accidentally did both before you told me. Should I use my back up vehicles.img file and put it in the CD images folder and try it again?

Well, the skin worked but when I viewed the NOOSE Patriot skin on the vehicle selection bit my game froze and it said: GTA has stopped responding.

I keep getting a Social Club Login failed message. I purchased it off Steam, so I don't know why that keeps happening. Sometimes it works, when I first got it, it never did that but now it's coming up quite a bit.

So, basically I've got to rename the files, correct? Also on the Readme file it said something about: Open the vehicles.ide file in your Grand Theft Auto IVcommondata folder, find the lines beginning with the names of the appropriate models, and at the end of those lines add +livery.
