  1. Ah... I am using just one, for the police lights. The one on this website. Seems so simple now haha. Dammmmnnn.... why do I never learn to make back-ups.
  2. Hi guys, i have searched this website and the web to try and find if anyone is having this same issue. I expect its probably a silly mistake I have done, however when installing a custom police car into my game I find that the lights never work properly. They show up when I press the correct buttons, however the lights on the light-bar are always very small and faded, and the break lights are always bright white in colour. I've tried multiple different cars and it's all the same, even the new police ford explorer car which by the videos looks very cool, however not in my game. I apologise if this is something I'm doing stupidly wrong :) Thank you!
  3. http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/desktop-pcs/desktop-pcs/pc-specialist-vortex-inferno-gaming-pc-10109327-pdt.html i know it is probably way over priced, but I I couldn't persuade that fact, however I am very greatful and super excited to play with it! I loved GTA 4 with LCPD FR and I've played that for years. Also got a new internet, I've been having to deal with 1 mb download speed for a few years living at home, now I've moved out its a hell of a lot better so I can actually do lol my steam games too haha. Thank you you so much for all of your help, I really appreciate it!
  4. i5 4460 sorry for repost, stupid mobile haha
  5. i5 4460 with a GTX 970 cheers :)
  6. Thanks for replying! Problem is, it's going to be a present however despite me explaining that fact the only option is for the computer to be a pre built, and on PC world (ouch) trust me I've tried to explain so much but at the end of the day, it's a present so I'm not complaining ha :) would you you reccommend an i5 processor with a GTX 970 instead?
  7. Would this be ok - Processor- Intel® Core™ i7-4790 - Quad-core - 3.6 GHz / 4.0 GHz - 8 MB cacheGraphics cardNVIDIA GeForce GTX 745 (4 GB)16GB Ram thank you.
  8. Haha, it was very optimistic of me I do admit. It ran GTA 4 well, guess I'm super lucky it did that. I am looking at some prebuilt computers, when I find one I want I will definitely post the specs for some advice, thanks so much guys. I'm not confident enough with computers to build my own rig to be honest. Looking to spend around 1K so if anyone has any recommendations of what the prebuilt should have for that money, or any examples that would be awesome thanks again guys!
  9. I'll definitely try this before buying a new computer specially for this mod, which is something i have been looking at.
  10. Wow, thank you all for your help. I tried running the game with the lowest possible settings on my current PC, however there was about a five second lag every two seconds (not playable unfortunately lol) So i'm thinking of just buying a new computer. I'm from England, and there was a few I've seen for around £450 which seem to be over the minimum requirements. What do you guys think, should i just do that? Thanks again for all of your help. I can not wait to start playing!
  11. Ah, considering it's 'antique-ness' (Yes that's now a word) does that change your opinion on whether my PC would run the game? I'm from the UK if that changes your ability to check out some boards and processors for me. I'm unfamiliar with the prices for such things, so i don't feel as if i can give you a maximum price. However, if you could give me a few suggestions that would be very very helpful. Thank you so much for your help, i didn't really expect such a kind response as what you have given me.
  12. Oh ok, i see. Is there any reasonably priced processors you would recommend yourself just in case it doesn't work, i would be willing to upgrade that to be able to play the game. That's a good idea, however the only problem with that is my internet is hideously slow. Do you only get one install for the boxed version then? If so i suppose i should buy the steam version. Is it much different in terms of adding script mods? As i am familiar with the disk game version. I really thank you for your support and help.
  13. I'm quite happy using low settings, however i would be interested in downloading some mods for LSPDFR, do you think this would work ok? Obviously no enbs or any texture mods apart from maybe one of the police vehicles. I appreciate your help on this, as i am in love with this mod i think it's fantastic. I already have the game booster but thanks, is there any certain settings you would recommend me to change to optimise my game play? Thank you.
  14. Thanks for your help :) That's great news.
  15. Hi guys, i'm guessing this is the right place to post this. I was a huge fan of LCPDFR on gta4 and played it a lot on my current PC. However, i've been watching a lot of videos of the new LSPDFR ( great job by the way) and was wondering if someone could please tell me if my current PC would be able to run gtaV or should i wait until my next computer. Specs : Intel(R) Xeon(R) 2.33 GHz COU - 5140 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 RAM 3072MB RAM Please ask if you need anything else. I'm not too hopefull as i know it's a bit of a potato, but please any advice would be muchly appreciated Thanks Very Much!!!
