  1. I would also like to know if this is possible. I love the mod, but this little feature kinda ruins it for me.
  2. I believe you may have the files mixed up. I checked the textures, and it only has LSPD liveries.
  3. I would also love to see something like this. Also, it would be nice to at least increase the duration of each light instead of them changing after only a few seconds.
  4. Hey guys, I'm sure this was requested long ago, but I don't think it was possible at the time since modding was virtually non-existent then. As the title suggests, is there a way to remove the model itself? The LAPD here don't normally wear them while out on patrol and so they seem out of place to me. Besides, it has the sheriff's emblem on it...
  5. I'm also getting the activation warning. It's just confusing as to why you have to go online... in order to play offline. Makes no sense. Just play something else to pass the time.
  6. Excellent! Finally, one with a working wail! Is it possible to replace the piercer with another yelp tone? Better yet, I can replace it myself if I only knew files they are.
  7. Is it possible to replace the piercer tone with the same yelp? The LAPD only ever use wails and yelps when responding to a code 3. In any case, it sounds great!
  8. I actually would rather have a script that gets rid of the hats. I've never seen a single LAPD officer on patrol, in my 14 years here in LA, wear one unless it was for ceremonial purposes. That goes for the sheriffs within the city too. Not sure about the areas in the northern outskirts of the city though. I'm assuming that we are able to choose how our officers look just like in LCPDFR, right? I guess we can already do it through a trainer, but it's still a feature I'd like to see.
  9. Even if it did come out first, would people here really flock to an unproven new title over LSPDFR? Dang, just posted this right when you did lol.
  10. Wait, crouching? How?
  11. Ooooh, that one. I thought you were referring to his highway patrol outfit. By different, you mean that the colors are too bright compared to the dark, midnight blue the male officers have, right? If so, then that should be an easy tweak.
  12. That's because he's using the SAHP uniform. I'd rather they change the model itself rather than just the color. Someone did that for Trevor, giving him LSPD colors, but he still had SAHP patches and badge, which made it look even more out of place.
  13. Yes! I love the inclusion of the LCS theme. One of my favorite GTA games back in the day, and one of the better themes of the series. Great job on the trailer, it was interesting to watch from start to finish :D
  14. I wouldn't mind having a separate BCSD if it meant that the LSSD could operate within LS itself. I actually prefer black and whites over other liveries. Having spent countless months playing with the mostly white LCPD/NYPD cruisers... I welcome a visual change. Besides, l intend on making LS as close to LA as possible :)
  15. I'd rather it be black and white like the Sheriff SUV. As far as I know, the only all-white Sheriff cruisers I see in LA are for volunteers.
  16. Thank you for this! I was sick and tired of the interceptor with it's cruddy "POLICE" livery always showing up. Plus, I know it's based on the Ford Taurus, but I rarely ever see it fielded on the road whenever I'm driving out. Having the Stanier spawn more often, it feels more like the actual LAPD.
  17. Oh man, I was eagerly waiting for this release! Awesome work, as always.
  18. I can also confirm that you can't play LCPD:FR offline with 1.1. Whenever I try to enter the station after Alt+P, it hangs on the loading screen indefinitely. Once I reconnect to the internet, it loads just fine.
  19. Thank you! It may not be perfect since it also makes you hold pistols and melee weapons with two hands, but I primarily wanted my SWAT to use rifles anyway. Again, many thanks
  20. Hi guys, This has been bothering me for a really long time now. I've searched other threads regarding this, but none of them have the answer I'm looking for. The question being - how can I stop NOOSE peds from holding their rifles/shotguns with just one hand? I've changed their walk style to "move_cop" within the 'peds.ide' file (both for animgroup and animfile) as stated in a number of threads, but rarely does anyone talk about the change resulting in one-handed weapons. When they do, no one really provides an answer for it or the thread just drops dead. It irks me to see screenshots of people playing as NOOSE/SWAT with the changed walk style and still be able to hold their weapons with both hands. I don't know how they're able to do it. Is there some other text file I need to tweak? Some animation file that needs replacing? I'm aware that there is also the alternative solution of simply replacing the NOOSE pilot, but whenever I attempt to play as them, my game starts experiencing disappearing textures and memory issues - probably due to the fact I'm using the CS:GO FBI models. My game runs fine otherwise. And besides, I also wanted to see other regular NOOSE peds within the game world use the new animations. Any help regarding this would be really appreciated. EDIT: Forgot to mention (not sure if it's important) but I'm playing with EFLC.
  21. Ok, I really love the idea for this mod, but I just don't understand the instructions.
