  3. Yes I updated to ver 1.0.7.0 and thats how I got the game going at last. I felt really stupid as I was using the wrong update to 1.0.5.0 I think. Never the less I got the game going. The install with LCPDFR yes I had all the green checks and it runs fine as long as I do not go into the police station. So I have to force duty with ctrl+p. Yes I am going to deal with amazon they suck LOL
  4. I got it going at last!!! Still have a few propblems I cant go onduty... I pusg alt+p then go to PD and walk in a room nadda happens. Also I can't leave PD even when I try to walk back to the exit. So I am forced to restart. So from the game I push ctrl+p froce on duty go into PD to go off duty and well can't do that and again stuck in the PD. I did get this error in the log I copy and paste it here. Maybe someone can help me out here. DEBUG - 12:41:01 AM] [scriptManager] StartScript: Callouts.ApartmentRape [iNFO - 12:41:01 AM] [ApartmentRape] LoadApartmentRape: Loaded DUKES_WILLIS_DOMESTIC_VIOLENCE_1 [ERROR - 12:41:30 AM] An unhandled exception occured in LCPDFR. How can I change into a police uniform?
  5. ok so after hours of messing around with this now I can get to the loading new game screen but nothing happens it just stays there. GTA IV is set to run as admin. Installed lcpdfr dsound also installed xlive from lcpdfr (without it nothing at all happens, game will not even start) I am lost
  6. OK so I am new to GTA on the PC. Been playing for years on my PS3. With that said I am not new to PC gaming. I got GTA IV to play around with all the mods. The game works fine, I added a police car mod with spark IV no problems there. I then added the ELS v6 I think (its the new one) and I watched the help videos to learn how to do all this but with the ELS added when I start GTA it crashes after loading the game from the start screen. If I remove the dsound from the GTA folder the game works but then no ELS. So maybe I am doing something wrong. Next issue I installed the LCPDFR and it does not work. Game loads I go to start the LCPDFR and nothing..... Last issue I downloaded the game after buying it off amazon.com Have a good key also from amazon. Windows Live keeps telling me I do not have a vailed key. WTF... Thanks for the help
