  1. No, there is no other slimdx.dll on the computer.
  2. Another SlimDX.i checked the dll file, but it's not there. Can we connect via AnyDesk and reach you faster?
  3. Yes I did that too Gine is the same mistake
  4. Yes, I tried that as well. I deleted SlimDX.dll, restarted my laptop, and launched RAGE Plugin Hook again. It still crashes with the same BadImageFormatException / 0x800700C1 error.
  5. I’ve already done both of those. I added the GTA V folder and RAGEPluginHook.exe to Windows Security exclusions, and I also tried launching RPH without administrator privileges. Unfortunately, I’m still getting the same SlimDX.dll error (0x800700C1).
  6. @Gan Ceann @UnknownBastion I still haven't been able to resolve the issue. I completely uninstalled McAfee and restarted my PC. I also tried launching GTA V normally through Epic Games, entering Story Mode, and then starting RAGE Plugin Hook while already in-game. RPH hooks the game, initializes DirectX/D3D11 successfully, and then GTA V crashes about 10 seconds later. The log still shows: System.BadImageFormatException SlimDX.dll HRESULT: 0x800700C1 If anyone has any other suggestions, I would really appreciate the help.
  7. I completely uninstalled McAfee and restarted my PC. I then launched GTA V normally through Epic Games, entered Story Mode as Franklin, and waited until I was fully in-game. While the game was running, I started RAGE Plugin Hook manually as administrator. Unfortunately, the game still crashed. So it does not seem to be caused by McAfee or by starting RPH before GTA V. I am still getting the SlimDX.dll / BadImageFormatException (0x800700C1) error. What other troubleshooting steps can I try?
  8. Thank you for the suggestions. I followed all four steps exactly as recommended, but unfortunately I am still getting the same crash. The error is: System.BadImageFormatException - SlimDX.dll - 0x800700C1 It happens at: Rage.Texture.Initialize() Rage.D3DManager.OnRenderInvoke() My GTA V version is 1.0.3889.0 (Legacy) and I am using RAGE Plugin Hook v1.131.1424.17745. Could you please tell me what other steps I can try?
  9. Title: RAGE Plugin Hook crashes with SlimDX.dll BadImageFormatException (0x800700C1) on GTA V Legacy 1.0.3889.0 Hello everyone, I recently purchased GTA V through Epic Games specifically to play LSPDFR, but I am unable to get RAGE Plugin Hook to start successfully. The normal GTA V game launches and works correctly. However, when I launch the game through RAGE Plugin Hook, it crashes during the DirectX initialization stage. My setup: Game: Grand Theft Auto V Legacy Store: Epic Games Game version: 1.0.3889.0 RAGE Plugin Hook: v1.131.1424.17745 Windows: Windows 11 Home Single Language 64-bit Windows build: 10.0.26200.0 GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5050 Laptop GPU RAM: 16 GB The crash occurs before LSPDFR appears to load. The relevant part of my RAGEPluginHook.log is: Product name: Grand Theft Auto V Product version: 1.0.3889.0 Is steam version: True Is enhanced version: False Initializing DirectX Initializing Direct3D ... Direct3D initialized Initialized DirectX ... [d3d11] Linear sampler state created successfully. [d3d11] Fullscreen vertex shader compiled successfully. [d3d11] Fullscreen pixel shader compiled successfully. [d3d11] Alpha pixel shader compiled successfully. SlimDX exception caught: System.BadImageFormatException: 'SlimDX.dll' file or one of its dependencies could not be loaded. The specified module is not a valid Win32 application. (HRESULT: 0x800700C1) Stack trace: at Rage.Texture.Initialize() at Rage.D3DManager.OnRenderInvoke()Things I have already tried: Reinstalled RAGE Plugin Hook. Reinstalled LSPDFR. Reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables. Reinstalled/repaired Visual C++ 2010 SP1. Checked msvcr100.dll. Checked SlimDX.dll with Dependencies. SlimDX.dll is detected as 64-bit. msvcr100.dll exists in C:\Windows\System32\. msvcr100.dll version is 10.00.40219.473. I also tried removing SlimDX.dll temporarily, but the problem remained. GTA V itself launches normally without RAGE Plugin Hook. Dependencies shows msvcr100.dll as a dependency of SlimDX.dll, but Windows reports that the msvcr100.dll module itself can be loaded correctly. At this point I am not sure whether this is a SlimDX dependency problem, a Windows runtime problem, or an issue with RAGE Plugin Hook and GTA build 3889.0. Could anyone help me identify what is causing the 0x800700C1 error and how I can fix it? I can provide the full RagePluginHook.log, screenshots from Dependencies, or any other diagnostic information you need. Thank you. RagePluginHook.log
