I copied the updated 0.4.1 files in manually and no issues with any callouts I had in there which are most of these on this thread.

Try searching in OpenIV for the name of the vehicle and see if it is in other patchday folders as well and sometimes vehicles are in x64 I think its the E folder you may have replaced it in that folder too.. find all the folders you added the previous vehicle to and replace it with the new one and it should appear in game!

This isn't really a support issue more of a question that's why I am asking here..when I grab ID's and they do not have a picture on their ID it says "upon arrest you can take a picture of the suspect and upload to the LSPD database" I thought oh that's neat so I just arrested a guy no picture in the Computer+ so I took a picture and it says "error failed to receive photo" anyone know if this works or if its not a feature yet available? If it is available.. how would I get it to work? haha

Same thing happened to me after saying slow system or insufficient permissions I just clicked retry and waited till the game got to the siren splash screen and then launched RAGE and it hooked the game... you might try this just run it without RAGE then when it gets to the splash screen load RAGE and it should hook. Make sure you force Direct X 11 and do it in windowed borderless until you get in game then just alt-enter and it should load in fine.

It doesn't really seem to be ELS though cause with ELS lights on they move over its when I hit Shift to initiate a traffic stop it doesn't blip them, only the explorer vehicle though as I have a charger addon vehicle ELS and it works haha

Not sure if this is the right place for this but im curious..I notice that Ford Explorer or FPIU hatcback suvs in the game as addons do not pull people over... only noticed it with these vehicles does not matter who the author is but when I go to pull them over I can't blip anyone or initiate a traffic stop at all in these cars its strange. Anyone know why that is? Maybe there is a way to make the game think its a "sheriff2" or something as reference for stopping vehicles?

I saw the AI traffic stop thing finally haha it was in Paleto Bay and I saw a van between a couple buildings and thought that is suspicious then saw a deputy behind him lights on haha then I was amazed by an AI pursuit just now... I responded to one of the additional callouts of suspicious activity at the ATM got there and the lady who called gave the info said it was a vehicle that took off started looking for the vehicle then motorcycle units found it by me and initiated a pursuit I joined and we chased the vehicle into the city from Chumash and I requested spike strips through Ultimate Backup and that spun her out but she kept going... then I requested spikes again but she evaded the second ones so I initiated a PIT myself and she spun out by then there was 3 motorcycle cops and 2 deputies and a city cop on the freeway in the city and she stopped and had her hands up in the car so I stopped and got out gun drawn and the units all stopped side by side and realistically stopped traffic (amazingly even with GTA AI it worked!) then they moved up LAPD/CHP style all at once and the motorcycle cops ripped her out and cuffed her. The traffic still stopped instead of a massive pileup and the motorcycle cops left the scene opening up one lane so traffic slowly moved till it got to my car then stopped again.. I dismissed the backup from ultimate backup and they left the vehicle was towed a transport took her and I pulled over to the far side then traffic slowly started moving again realistically.... I didn't think GTA AI especially on interstates could be fixed but they did it beautifully!! LSPDFR 0.4 is an amazing upgrade and the AI mechanics realistically enhanced. At this time pursuits are by far my favorite part of 0.4!!!

This problem happened to me and what I did was I uninstalled the ASI Loader and then reinstalled it and then I closed out of all programs and restarted my computer and it worked and ELS was back. I had a similar problem where my addons EUP and a car I have were not being recognized all of a sudden I did this same step and that fixed that issue as well so make sure you uninstall and then reinstall ASI Loader and restart your computer then launch GTA and it should be fixed.

I do not think you can recruit partners in LSPDFR without another plugin which does that and I am not sure if the other ones are compatible with 0.4 it would be a trial and error thing

YES! I waited about a week or so to apply 0.4 to my game cause I kept seeing people have issues with it... finally caved today lol and tried it vanilla with no mods it loaded and I created a few characters and tried it for a bit.. only bug I got was going to the robbery callout base LSPDFR vanilla and the game crashed without warning no log thing thought okay thats weird but still new so okay.. turned mods back on thinking it would not work lo and behold without changing anything but the LSPDFR version my mods worked I started adding compatible callouts and it crashes at times but I just reload LSPDFR and get back into it... the flashlight and enhanced AI in pursuits is fantastic!! I also found out that like LCPDFR I approached a guy in a "routine" traffic stop and he tried to ambush me with a pistol lol this update is like a new game. Amazing! I honestly didn't think the ram-hungry OP AI cops could be fixed but they have been completely revamped awesome job LSPDFR Dev Team and a special shoutout to Sam!

Really? That is awesome!! I waited a week to throw 0.4 in and finally did today while keeping a folder for 0.3.1 just in case and it works like a charm! I love 0.4 so far! It is a little buggy and crashes randomly but I just reload it and get right back in... also I switched to a character the first one I went on duty with earlier and he got out of a sheriff cruiser at the State Penn (Bolingbroke) it was so cool!

I attempted this too cause I have Oregon state police trooper EUP uniforms and an addon car the charger I called OSPch and tried this to add it so it would be its own agency and it crashed so I deleted the custom .xmls I don't know enough about this yet haha maybe the guy who created the uniforms will figure out this and release the .xmls or someone else who lives in Oregon haha but I am just so glad I can play 0.4 waited a week to throw it in and it works like a charm so far.. aside from my lack of knowledge regarding scripting lol

I just saw the LSPDFR 0.4 tab and couldn't believe what I was seeing!!! People guessed it would release on a Sunday and here it is!! I am so excited to try this.. awesome job Sam and the rest of the Dev team and Community Mods and Helpers etc. who spent countless time and dedication and hard work on this amazing free mod and update!!! We appreciate you all immensely! Thank you.

Nope just crashes and says it closed unexpectedly it was all fine before the 1604 update

Well I have not been able to use Scripthook or .NET or Mods since the last big update so I guess that is not gonna affect me as long as it didn't break RAGE lol. I still never found a way to get mods back without crashing because of the last update.

The ambient events thing will be great! Other night I was playing and had an instance where a random AI started shooting at me and I requested backup but they didn't shoot at the perp they just stood there.. I have the plugin addon thing where you can press either CTRL or SHIFT T and start a pursuit on them so the other AI cops target them but it just puts the suspect from shooting to flee mode. This new ambient event where AI cops can join in will be awesome, also looking forward to the new flashlight animation and Character life mode thing... as well as the other features and potential easter eggs not mentioned!

Is it possible to add the animation where the AI passenger cops have flashlights and shine them around the car like a spotlight but for the player to do? I know there is a spotlight plugin but the flashlight animation looks cool and I know you are adding a better flashlight to 0.4 so wondered if this was possible since that addition.

Yeah im only able to play lspdfr with vanilla game no mods no scripts im waiting till I find a solution it sounds like a lot of people have issues with mods still being broke due to this update. LSPDFR works fine with the base vanilla game so playing that and online for the time being haha

You have to launch the game without RAGE to play online as RAGE intentionally blocks you from playing online to prevent being banned for cheating, also turn off mods folder through open.iv just run vanilla game to play online.
