Okay. I downgraded from 0.95 RC1 to 0.91 because the former was a bit too buggy for me. The 0.95 account linking feature *works*. However, the 0.91 account linking feature does not. Yes, I did run the tool as an administrator. To be honest, this isn't a massive deal because I can still play LCPDFR without it, but I'd like to be able to import my crime statistics here from the game. For convenience, the error message says something about an unhandled exception or something and it says "problem negotiating with G17 Media".. It has something to do with Microsoft .NET Framework since that's what the title of the error message is. I can take a screenshot of the full error message if needed. I have the .NET Framework extended, yes. I'm really not sure what could be wrong, so any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Make sure you use a programme to extract the patch; it's zipped. Extract it anywhere you like, then double click on it. It will have "setup" in the name or something similar, I can't remember exactly. Install the links that Break gave you above and try again. I was having the same problem as you, but when I installed the patch it worked.

When you are in the download page for 0.95 RC1, It says that the NOOSE Gunship is prone to crashing. It's nothing severe. If it crashes, just restart the game. It works more often than not.

Yeah. On YouTube there was some links to gtapolicemods.com to get a CVPI which Lt.Caine made (worked with ELS) but the site got reconstructed and I can't find it. :sad:

Hi everyone. Lately I have been searching for an LCPD CVPI (Crown Victoria) which works with ELS. I have found a few links on YouTube to GTA Police Mods.com, but since the site got reconstructed, the links are broken. Anybody know where I can find it? Thanks in advance.

Make sure your GTA is on the latest patch, and you have followed all the instructions here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/cops/forum/forum-20/announcement-5-need-support-read-this-first/ Also, as Mage25 said, post your diagnostics log so that we can determine what the problem is, and the diagnostics tool is located at the above link.

Please tell us what the error message says. And you will probably want to read this and download the things that Sam tells you to. You'll be given an infraction unless you state you don't understand this: http://www.lcpdfr.co...ead-this-first/. If you have downloaded the things Sam tells you to, make sure GTA IV is on the latest patch, and it can be downloaded from the Downloads section of the Rockstar Games website. If you need help with installing it, send me a message and I'll be more than happy to help, or check an existing thread, 'cause I'm sure there will be a thread about installing the patches. Okay, it's downloading. But, can I ask you one thing? When I go to "Grand Theft Auto Episodes from Liberty City" and right click and click "Run as Administrator", it doesn't do anything. Any idea why? Also, diagnostics aren't working...

How do you install it? I open it with WINRAR and extract it where?

What is the exe? Is it just the game? 'Cause if it is, already tried it, doesn't load!

Also, when it says it has automatically detected my installation folder, it makes me select it myself, and I don't know what one it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the mod detects is automatically, then why ask me to set it?

Okay, I will tell you exactly what I'm doing. 1. Go to download section 2. click on 0.91-Automatic Install 3. Install it 4. Load up EFLC 5. Log into social club and Games for windows-LIVE 6. As soon as the game loads, I press LEFT ALT+P and the graphics just go blurry. I have tried downloading this mod before and it didn't work, I just want to know what I'm doing wrong, because the diagnostics tool, as mentioned, has broken. Help!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen people trying to do that before, and they have been told to make a separate thread.

OKAY, I am getting a serious urge to punch something now, as the two of these problems mean that I have encountered problems with this mod 5 TIMES. Now, when I try to run the diagnostics tool provided by Sam, it gets to the point where is says "detected EFLC" then stops working, and Windows (7) tries to close it, which is even more annoying, because I don't want it to close it, even if it isn't working! Furthermore, my EFLC stops working completely when I try to run it as administrator, as suggested in a previous topic. It does the social club login as normal, then asks me if SecurLauncher can make changes to my computer, I say yes, it reads the disk for multiple seconds, loads something, and nothing else happens. Absolutely nothing. I have been waiting 10 minutes now... STILL NOTHING. I really need help with installing this mod, a detailed walkthrough would be highly appreciated, 'cause there's NO WAY I'm going to be able to do this by myself without smashing my window Thanks, Mark :biggrin:

Okay, I've got it. I haven't a clue if LCPDFR is working or not, haven't tried yet, but I did what you said, let's see if it works :)
