  1. An Easter Egg in a game is something (it's usually supposed to be funny) which was put there deliberately by the developers for the players of the game to find, just like a real Easter Egg. They usually don't do anything, but I'm sure there are some Easter Eggs that do something. :)
  2. Ah ... I think I know. I think a "misfortune" is when the victim of a mugging dies, a suicidal guy kills himself, the suicidal guy kills you etc, because I accidentally killed the victim of a mugging with my car and I got +1 misfortune.
  3. That works, thanks! :)

You can press LALT + F11 to force a callout. Just keep pressing it until you find a callout you like, if that's what you want to do. I personally think it takes the realism away a bit.
  5. Well I have died before while on duty and apparently I've had no kills. :\
  6. Civilian deaths sounds reasonable ... I did run over a massive heap of civilians when in pursuit of a Taxi the other day ... :(
  7. I was looking at the crime statistics in my signature earlier and I was wondering, what counts as a "misfortune"? When you look at crime statistics that are not in people's signatures, it says "accidental" kills. Anyone know?

There are loads of videos on YouTube which show you how to install cars. Just search for it in the search bar.
  9. One way (what I do, anyway) is to use SparkIV to replace the default cars with custom ones. If you only want LAPD cars to spawn, then use SparkIV to replace the default cars with the LAPD ones. Hope this helps.
  10. zOMG! That's exactly the link I was looking for! Thanks so much.
  11. You don't get a popup asking if you will permit SECULauncher to make changes to your computer?
  12. Oh and just to further the post above, 0.91 can not link to the site because of API changes, so if you want your crime statistics to update, use 0.95 RC1.
  13. If you want to use LCPDFR, you will probably need to update to patch 1.0.7.0. Please read this: http://www.lcpdfr.co...ead-this-first/. If you still need help, watch this: Also, make sure you run the automatic installer and GTA IV as an administrator. Edit: Slight reword, added another tip.
  14. Did you run the game as an administrator? Right-click it and click "run as administrator".
  15. If that one in the picture is compatible with ELS, then it's exactly the one I was talking about. Where did you get that?
  16. What do you mean by "tickets"? Do you mean a citation or a parking ticket?
  17. When I get this call, when I get there, there is nobody there and I just get the "mission successful" tune. I have responded to this call like 7 times and I've never been able to do anything in either.
  18. Doesn't GFW-L come with GTA IV? It came with my version of EFLC.
  19. F12 is backup when you are in a pursuit. F12 backup will not work unless you are in a pursuit. ALT + B, on the other hand, is for backup when you are not in a pursuit, e.g. when you have responded to a call and need some extra help. As for the NOOSE thing, the same thing happens to me sometimes. Not too sure why but it doesn't bother me because I just call for more NOOSE units.
  20. Oh, I see. Even in 0.95 RC1, in the error logs, there is a lot of 404 errors where LCPDFR has tried to update the system but whatever website it was trying to do it on was not found. Is this related to the same API changes which stopped linking 0.91 or is it a bug?
  21. If your car engine stops, you can just dial 911 on your phone and it will start again.
  22. Yes, the NOOSE gunship is the Annihilator helicopter. It will follow you unless it literally crashes into a building, or it crashes your game. It's prone to crashing, as is mentioned when you go to download it. I personally try to avoid it unless I really need it because I don't want it to crash my game. Edit: Nothing major, just added the quote because I forgot.
