    • Version 1.2.1
Panic Button A simple plugin that allows you to press a keybind to dispatch officers to your location and generate an automatic report. Features * Press a configurable key to activate the panic button. * Automatically requests panic backup units using Policing Redefined. * Plays a panic alert sound (configurable). * Logs recent events and vehicle/officer information to a `.txt` report. * Includes a provided configuration file. --- Changelog Version 1.2.1 (waiting for file verification) Changed Version Name to 1.2.1 as per request of micheal21107 on Discord as to not conflict with an older PanicButton plugin. Improved the format of the log files Added a new line in the log files to detect what callout you were responding too (still testing, lmk if it works or doesn't) --- Roadmap Version 1.3.0 Integration with CalloutInterface to display panic button hits. Compatibility with UltimateBackup and Vanilla backup systems. Drastically improve logging making it more reliable, and look more official. Add more events to the event logger. --- Installation 1. Drag and drop the `plugins` folder from the ZIP file into the game's directory. 2. Ensure `Policing Redefined` is installed and up-to-date. 3. Place your panic sound file (default: `panicbutton.wav`) in the same folder (if using a custom one). 4. Start GTA V and go on duty in LSPDFR. There is some preset audio options available in the AdditionalSoundPack.zip file or you can import your own. --- Configuration You'll have a configuration file inside the PanicButton folder: [PanicButton] PanicKey=T ShiftRequired=true CooldownSeconds=10 SoundFile=panicbutton.wav Callsign=7-ADAM-15 EnableLogging=true Options: * PanicKey: Key to trigger the panic button. * ShiftRequired: Whether the Shift key must be held. * CooldownSeconds: Minimum delay between activations. * SoundFile: Name of the alert sound file. * Callsign: Officer name used in reports. * EnableLogging: Enable or disable logging. --- Log Location `Plugins/LSPDFR/PanicButton/logs` --- Notes This is my first LSPDFR plugin. If you encounter any errors, crashes, or bugs, please let me know, and I’ll try to get them fixed right away. If needed contact me at someonehere. on Discord. Yes this includes the `.` at the end. --- Requirements * [Policing Redefined](https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/scripts/52191-policing-redefined/) * Up-to-date installs of LSPDFR and RagePluginHook
