[[ R3D Roleplay Chat Utilities ]] ----------------------------------------------------------------- Enhancing your roleplay possibilities, one command at a time! ----------------------------------------------------------------- This is a FiveM resource - this will not, in any way, function in singleplayer. Features: - /rp1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 <message> This separates scenes in chat using "[Scene #] <Message>" as well as color-coded messages, making it easier to pair each message with the ongoing scene. - /me <message> This displays a message in a floating text above the player's head. This shows as "PlayerName: <Message>". - /scene <duration> <message> This allows the player to place floating text, which will stay in place until the duration expires. This allows players to mark evidence, show that a place is closed, or even leave notes around the map. Each scene has a generated ID which is used to delete the scene. - /sceneclear <ID> This allows the player who placed a scene to remove it. No one else can remove the scenes - worry not, they will all expire at some point! - /ad <business_name> <message> This allows players to post advertisements in chat for their businesses. This shows up as "[ADVERTISEMENT] BUSINESS_NAME Message". (You cannot use spaces in the business name) - /ooc <message> This is to show a message out of character, or out of roleplay. This just shows up in chat as "[OOC] PlayerName: <Message>". - /gme <message> This is just to put a "/me" action in chat for everyone to see, instead of just those around you. Useful for actions that might've been caught on CCTV or social media. This shows up as "[GLOBAL] PlayerName: <Message>. - /do <message> This is to signify an action in chat. This might be useful for actions that might need to be repeated, just to save the time of having to use the "/me" command again. This shows up in chat as "PlayerName <message>". You might use this for "PlayerName hands drivers license - name John Doe". - /whisper <message> This will send a message in chat to the nearest player. If you're in a group of four people, for example - this will choose the absolute closest person and send the message to them via the chatbox. - /shout <OtherPlayerName> This is for when the person you're trying to get the attention of is just out of proximity chat range. This will send a message to all players within 50 meters. This shows in chat as "YourName shouts for OtherPlayersName". This doesn't have a specific message, this is just to get their attention. - /advise <OtherPlayer> <Message> This is to advise another player of something involving the game, an error, or their character. For example, their arms are clipping through their shirt - this would be used as "/advise OtherPlayer arm clipping through shirt", it would display in chat as "YourName advises OtherPlayersName of arm clipping through shirt" (it automatically adds the word "of"). - /clearchat This will clear the chat client-side - meaning, it will only clear the chat on your screen, no one elses. - Config file All message colors, prefixes, fonts, text sizes, display durations, distance visibility, and background colors can be changed through the config.lua file - as well as enable/disable each command. Support will be provided via comments. If you encounter any problems or issues with this resource, please request help/support before submitting a negative review. 1. No matter what version I change my FiveM server to, it says; "... this ASI plugin does not claim to support game build 3570. If you have access to its source code, add `FX_ASI_BUILD 3570 BEGIN "\0" END` to the .rc file when building this plugin. If not, contact its maintainer." I've tried every version on the supported versions list. Currently attempting 3570 again, but no luck. Disregard, I saw the other comment about the same issue. Thank you!
