  1. Thanks for reminding me, I actually wanted to have it up already... http://www.mediafire.com/download/bk1cnuk5vd5tf1f/Altima_Template.RAR Full 2048x2048 resolution, included the NYPD texture as well (Not quite finished, but it's like 95%)
  2. Well, I'm not really a lightbar crack and don't know that much about it. I have just taken a lightbar here from LCPD:FR, it's a Federal Signal Vector by F5544 and Lt.Caine. Some textures weren't applied in those screenshots though. I have also been thinking of simply making the police version without any real police equipment (read: Lightbars, interior equipment) and just finish all the body changes, then people can add new lightbars, etc... Yea, I think I know what you mean, at least I have noticed something as well, which I think is the same thing. Talking about this? I'm not really content with the rims though, I have never managed to make good rims, so the ones you saw on the latest screens... Actually they were placeholders, but maybe they do make it into the final version, to be honest. Next thing I'm gonna do is probably a little antenna on the back of the roof and possibly those mudguards. Edit: ^scratch that
  3. Yea and it will also get different rims and a hybrid badge instead of the 3.5 badge Edit: and yea, the plates will probably be mapped on the template.
  4. Police version in the works, NYPD paintjob finished. If someone has a link to the lightbar model, it would help greatly.
  5. Just a bump to notify you that a (locked) Beta of the civilian model is now available in the first post. I would say it's roughly between 90-100% finished, if you find bugs, just tell me. Copy of the OP: Features: Complete exterior, interior, engine, trunk and doorsills All LOD levels present (L1 and L2 models) Custom COL model(s) Hands on steering wheel No broken tire bug(? not sure, but should be) Wheels are colorable (channel 2) Spoiler (with brakelight) as extra L0, L1, L2 models completely dirt mapped When the lights break, you have some see through parts. This is not finished, yet. Part of the left front light can be seen through the engine when the bonnet is opened, this will be fixed. Final version will have illuminated interior controls Maybe I'll also up a template later, so some of you folks can already try to make some skins if you desire.
  6. well, the civilian version is intended to replace the Pinnacle, since that's pretty much a vehicle based on the Altima...
  7. Aaand another one (going faster than expected): I plan on not exceeding the 1.5MB mark for the model size. (The version on the screenshots was 0.84mb for the .wft and 0.5mb for .wtd)
  8. almost finished the sills (unsmoothed/not welded here)
  9. quick update without pics: Interior cmong along nicely inside the vehicle, reardoors finished (with doorsills) front dashboard and gauges, etc will be detailed, the rear not so much.
  10. it's actually quite low in my opinion. Texture is only 512x256 and the whole engine has about 1400 polies.
  11. Some new pictures, this time not in the showroom but on the street showing off the dirt The boot and rearlights (carpet mapping will be fixed) If you have any questions, suggestions, etc, just name them. Also, the hood and boot will get hinges, right now they look a little awkward just floating on their edges when opened
  12. Glad to see feedback like this. Would've never thought that an Altima made such an impact :D @Hystery: yea well, hm... Actually I'm not planning on doing it, but I actually don't hesitate to give my mods to other people so they can edit it to have ELS enabled. To be honest, right now I just want to finish the civillian version and then see how much more time I can put into it. Otherwise I'll leave the service versions to you guys. I hope to have it completed by the next weekend
  13. Okay, so I have noticed the lack of the Altima for quite some time and given it was one of the most frquent vehicles back when I have been there last year I thought why not? Plus, there is a NYPD version of it, so that's a reason more for me. The exterior is already completed, an engine has been added and only a detailed interior along with doorsills is missing. Everything else is pretty much done. All lights working, LOD models present, all parts dirt mapped... I have decided to wait with a thread because I didn't know whether I would actually complete it, but in the current stages I think it's safe to say that it comes along very well. I'm currently focusing on finishing the civillian version and then build the other version out of that one or release an unlocked model for others to play with. We'll see. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Template and NYPD sample texture: http://www.mediafire.com/download/bk1cnuk5vd5tf1f/Altima_Template.RAR Update March 19th: NYPD version (unlocked) [Non-ELS] released Credits: Turn 10 Slightly Mad Studios Convert/Edit/scratch parts: SkylineGTRFreak Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 modeled and converted by Ridgerunner Designs Lightbar: This Federal Signal Vector was created from scratch by F5544, Textures are made by Lt.Caine. Converted to ELS v8 by Kinksta100, The Lightbar has been edited by Kinksta100. ie Rota's, Secondary lightbar. Reconverted to non-ELS by SkylineGTRFreak I'm releasing it as is, even though I would have liked to work a little more on this, I just can't do it at the moment. Note: You may edit and re-publish this mod as long as you keep the original credits. If you release it anywhere outside of LCPD:FR, make sure it is locked. I have put some serious time into this and don't want some wannabe to mess with this. http://www.mediafire.com/download/lz8yewhpqzcd67e/Altima_Hybrid_ML.RAR Template can be found above. Update March 5th: Civilian version released: http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/nissan-altima-35se-f31728 (locked for now) Features: Complete exterior, interior, engine, trunk and doorsills All LOD levels present (L1 and L2 models) Custom COL model(s) Hands on steering wheel Buttons and gauges illuminated at night No broken tire bug Wheels are colorable (channel 2) Spoiler (with brakelight) as extra L0, L1, L2 models completely dirt mapped Maybe I'll also up a template later, so some of you folks can already try to make some skins if you desire. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, enjoy some pictures:
  14. I don't know, In my opinion BxBugs model is, like Sgt.Kanoy said, a little inaccurate since it was modified from a Tahoe base... @Sgt.Kanyo: Could you get me the model? Seems liek ti can only be downloaded with a premium account. Would have to convert it entirely, but seeing that everything is there already (doorsills, engine), it shouldn't be that hard. Thanks. Gonna release a stock/unlocked version of it aswell when it's done.
  15. As the title states, I'm looking for an unlocked Suburban model I can modify into an up-armored SUV with top hatch, minigun (like this: '>), rambar and some new wheels. I have seen a few unlocked Tahoes and Suburban, but tbh, most of them were lacking things like optimized LOD models or had downright bad modelled sections. Yes, I could do it myself instead of nit-picking on other work, but no, I actually just want to modify an existing mod as I haven't had much time lately, but still want to mod something. Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope you have some suggestions.

Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 converted from Forza Motorsport 4 by me. Completely new undercarriage, doorsills, enginebay and engine, trunk, left hand interior, new rims and finally outfitted with police equipment. Custom LOD models, even the L2 model is compatible with the texture and makes the mod more realistic. All LOD levels are optimized (means: L0 models haven't been simply copied and renamed to L1) Full credits can be found in the Read Me file included in the archive. If you wish to have an ELS version... I won't do it, if you want to, shoot a PM.
