  1. That was it! I feel like such an idiot. I read you recommend this to countless people when I was troubleshooting this, but I (wrongly) assumed that I already had their most up to date DLL by doing a fresh RHP install. Whoops! thank you for your help, and sorry to waste your time on this issue you've told COUNTLESS people how to solve!
  2. Hello, I just did a clean install of GTAV and I'm reinstalling kind of a base package of mods before I delve too deep into additional more complicated mods. I just wanted to check and see if they were working and with just LSPDFR I have no issues. Granted, that's a pretty bland way to play it. So I installed the other three (STP,UB, Compulite) and now it will either crash half the time loading into the game (before even going on duty) or will crash immediately after going on duty with two beeps. It will say "Stop The Ped loaded successfully" but UB and Compu do not show up as loaded correctly in game (it looks like in .log they do?) I've been banging may head against this for a few hours now. Even did a clean reinstall of all the mods to no avail. I changed keybindings on this most recent attempt to ensure there were no conflicts there, but honestly there still might be, I'm just kinda worn out on this. The big red flag in the logs seems to be "UNHANDLED EXCEPTION DURING GAME FIBER TICK" but I don't know where to begin to troubleshoot that. Thanks for your help in advance! RagePluginHook.log
  3. Hey I just wanted to hop in here and say thank you all for the helpful feedback! Later this week I’ll try to maybe trim it down a bit (like getting rid of STP and seeing how that goes cause I agree it’s clunky and might be the root of most of my issues) I think I just ran into putting a bunch of mods on at once and not understanding the overlaps between them all. Maybe run just ALPR with callouts and compulite for a bit to see how that works out. I like the idea of riskiertrafficstops since thats my main focus but I feel like I have my hands full as it is working through a simple traffic stop. I know that sounds weird but I’m really focused on use of force escalation and protecting my case in an invisible court. Like not just pulling everyone out of their car and immediately searching them, instead questioning them and getting some kind of consent force and then assessing as I go. for what it’s worth I still haven’t seen the option to (or gone to) court yet, so it’s mostly just my RP’ing with my self lol! But that’s probably mostly due to most of my stops ending with a suspect dead, arrested by the back up, or a failure to print my citations (which I agree is probably a user error but I was at it for hours just trying to get controls and overlays not to clash and never being able to print that ticket they deserved) that isn’t to say I never arrested and hauled several to jail without incident. Just never see them again and never go to court for it.
  4. Warning: I know every mod I'm about to talk about "isn't updated" anymore. I'm begging for alternatives! I don't know where to go with this but all I want to do is patrol and traffic stops. Literally just write citations and occasionally mix it up lol! I installed just base LSPDFR and it was fine but there's nothing there. It was 0% policing and 95% a burglary or highs speed chase. Completely un-realistic policing. BUT FUN-ish! But it's basically just "steal a cop car" in vanilla GTAV with a little added element. Then I found the "Must use mods" that work with LSPDFR and I've spent days trying to get Ultimate backup, compulite, Stop the ped, and ALPR working all-together (all the most recent, popular, realistic facing, but 'unsupported' ones). After trial and error I got them all to load and play nice without freezing my game, but in practice it was just half shy of being what you'd think the one thing this LSPDFR is supposed to be. pull up. light up, issue ticket or start arrest. It feels so close, until the rubber meets the road, then it's so far away. Anytime I'd go on a traffic stop nothing worked out. Cant write citations at all despite trying to work with the tablet (after working through all the citations it will never actually print one). no court dates. I can always arrest anyone all the time and there's no repercussions and no drawback to it. I'm at the point now where I can smoothly run through 2/3's of a traffic stop and then its like "pull the gun out and dome em' because why not?" I've worked endlessly through key bindings and ini files. but I also understand these mods everyone loved at one point aren't being updated. What a shame, because a few years ago I bet they were a blast! That's fine and I get it. But WHAT IS being updated?? I type all this rant to ask this: is there ANY CURRENT UPDATED mods that address this HUGE lack in replayability for LSPDFR? People MUST be having successful traffic stops and normal interactions (as far as criminals go) and no one is just driving around arresting people all day for expired tags, no citations, no follow up, and no career trajectory, rightr? I mean there's a goodman escalation protocol and anyone playing a cop MUST love that part of it?!?! If I wanted to go hog wild being insufferable I'd just play GTAV online! Still, love you all for everyone that's working on this fun mod! I know it's thankless work
