  1. I wish I was here earlier, some people shouldn't be posting computer related assistance when they have no experience with it. If you're unsure of the parts you want to buy, post a link to the models you were thinking of in your budget, and we can OK them or suggest an alternative.

  3. Of course, it's all messed up the logic that goes on here. I guess what would happen would depend on what the supervisors decided what to do, they'd have to address the situation and I also didn't watch the video, but I'm sure whatever call they made was a reasonable one. They know everybody is watching it unfold so that's taken into consideration too. Somebody brought it up, but a similar thing happened here in Massachusetts last winter I believe when a bunch of black lives mater (white people actually) attached themselves to construction barrels and just sat in the middle of the highway. What a mess, as if the Boston commute wasn't bad enough. And I completely agree, these people have terrible tunnel vision. A lot of them have no vision at all on what they want done and the ones that do are fixated on this notion and are willing to block out facts and common sense. For example, they see a White Officer shoot a Black man, but what they don't see is that it was in self defense by some drugged up guy with a knife. Stuff like that. If you want to solve a problem, you need to be open minded, willing to look at all angles and of course as I said early, be democratically productive about it too.
  4. You don't need to be American to know that this is all very illegal. Impeding traffic on a public motorway is absolutely illegal, because it stops people from doing what they're doing while putting other people's lives at risk (Never walk onto a public roadway). Whether we like it or not, these people have the right to protest whatever they want. But the point is if you're going to protest something, do it productively. This means do things the way change is supposed to be done, the democratic way. This means gatherings have to be legal, and instead of burning buildings and throwing rocks, engage public officials to address concerns in your community. Elected officials want to hear your concerns, and want to work with you to find a solution, after all that's their job. They most certainly don't want to associate with you if you have a negative image, instead of being a progressive movement of passionate individuals, you have a group of mostly one sided, law-breaking, mass of people who aren't passionate enough about a topic to form an official, productive group (For example Martin Luther King or even the ACLU), nobody is going to want to help you. tl;dr You don't like the way something is? Fine. But go about it in a productive way to address it, and work with your elected officials to solve it. Law is a powerful tool.

  6. In New England, you can go pretty much anywhere and bet you're going to see a Whelen Liberty. Security, Local Cops, Sheriff, State Police, they all use Whelen Liberties far more than other lightbar. It has something to do with the contractors that service the area.
  7. If you're really ballsy, you could order HDD or the exact same model and replace everything but the platters, generally the platters don't fail and that's where the data is stored. However, that is very advanced and should be done extremely carefully with clean and precise equipment.

  10. Funny you link those photos, as I took both of those photos in Chicopee, MA! Unfortunately, I've browsed extensively for a model similar to that, and I just haven't found one that pleased me. Most of them have too much/not enough lighting, or Steel Rims. If I ever do find one though, I'll be sure to tell you.

This modification is the most updated & arguably accurate version of the Massachusetts State Police's primary patrol vehicles, the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and Explorer Police Interceptor Utility. Most notably, these files contain rear "Reflective Strips" which the MSP has been implementing on new cruisers starting in 2014, and has been continuing ever since. Most decals on the vehicle are actual photos taken from real MSP Cruisers. Vehicles Shown: (Vehicle > Author > Link) Explorer - J.J. 11. Here's a quick video I made with my new skins https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5MDV9kWQwU&feature=youtu.be
Awesome! Most realistic MSP Explorer out there, very nice job.
  12. The Valve games, TF2, Portal 2, and most recently, CS:GO all have such fascinating communities and gameplay options.
  13. Hey again! Just here for an update. I reluctantly paid $20 on Steam to purchase the Steam Version of GTAIV, which I downloaded, Copied and Pasted my mod folder, and everything works now! It must be something wrong with the discs, they're heavily used and quite scratched somehow. It was nothing wrong with my mods, not LCPDFR, nothing like that, it seems it has problems with the disc itself. Glad it's resolved. :)
  14. Thanks for checking in, I've been pretty busy AFK for a bit, so it might take me a couple more days to sit down and figure this one out. I didn't think about an older version, I will indeed try that when I find the time. If I get any results, I'll be sure to respond back.
  15. That's what I do, pressing ALT before loading in LCPDFR does nothing, I hit ALT+P, "forceduty", and then if I hit ALT again that's when it crashes. Strangest glitch I've ever encountered. I did a reinstall 2 times, I think the integrity of my discs has faded over the years, they have lots of scratches. But that can't be it, because the game runs fine otherwise. I'll have to do some more extensive testing.
  16. Yes, everything works. I can go and spawn cars, run around, shoot, put on a hat manually with a trainer, it all works. But as soon as I hit ALT it freezes. It must be conflicting with some sort of program, but I can't imagine what it would be.
  17. For the love of god, I cannot figure this one out. I tried adding GTAIV as a non-steam game the other day, and of course that didn't work (GTAIV needs administrator, and you can't run games as admin from Steam Library) so I removed it and tried to play it regularly. The problem is that whenever I load in LCPDFR, and press Left ALT for any reason (ALT+U for example to put on a hat, or just ALT in it of itself) freezes the game and crashes (GTAIV Not Responding). I've done everything, complete full reinstall (1.0.7.0, Administrator, No Mods, Default LCPDFR v1.1) and it continues to do it. Yes, I even restarted my computer. Additionally, nothing shows up in the log files which is why I didn't post them. Any suggestions?
  18. "parallel lines glitch" sounds a lot like refresh sync (Screen Tearing) artifacting, VSync forces the frames to refresh at the same time at the price of performance which might solve his problem. So, serious. EDIT: Now I understand he's talking about a game called "Driver Parallel Lines" which is a terrible name for a racing game. To be fair, the entire post is extremely vague.
  19. Very unclear about the problem, but try enabling VSync in Graphics Settings.
  20. So is this just information or are you asking a specific question? Take Motherboard, RAM, CPU, HDD, and 5.25 (DVD Drive) out of the old case. Buy a new ATX compatible case, AIO Liquid Cooler (Corsair H100i for example), and the new Nvidia graphics card you mentioned. (GTX 960, 970). -- You specifically mentioned the noise of your PC, some things to consider; Be Quiet! makes some fantastic cases focused on quiet cooling cases, and graphics card wise, I'd look into getting a non reference cooling card. Two options there: -ASUS STRIX Technology (Fans only enable under load) -Water Cooled AIO Graphics Card (Corsair HG10 + H100i, H50 -- If you're in need of more suggestions, or have a specific question in mind, just ask.
  21. Hmmm, it depends. I suppose you could put one on, and make it transparent if you didn't like it. A number vehicles I know of use that technique. A lot of MA State Police Cruisers I've seen use whip antennas in addition to the full antenna. I included some photos here, some of which I've taken others are just I had on file. Hopefully it can influence your decision. I'm really looking forward to the release either way. http://1drv.ms/1IdN6Bl
