  1. Yeah as Pyro mentioned: Functions.SetPedAsArrested() doesn't really make the ped no longer arrested. The peds still keep their blip and tasks etc. which is why cloning is the only option.
  2. I highly doubt that because it works fine for me, aswell as for others. There must be a different issue (maybe your game is corrupt?). At what point does your game crash? (during the story mode loading screen? or before? or even after?)
  3. Yeah that is not RA's fault, it's most likely GTA or some other script that you are using

  7. That is odd because you are the first person to report such an issue. Are you sure it's not caused by something else? Based on your description it sounds like a glitch that i had with vanilla lspdfr but never with RA.
  8. Yeah..so RA is currently dependent on StopThePed, unfortunately. So you might need to install it or wait until I find time to make STP optional
  9. Yeah, you are right..STP can be made an optional dependency. However right know I am busy with school and another big LSPDFR project so I basically have no time for RA left. I will put that on my TO-DO list though! 🙂

Ransom Ambience - Update I know there hasn't been an update for the plugin in a long time...The reason for that is because I am busy working on a different, big LSPDFR plugin with @Echooo and @AstroBurgers. It is aiming to be an alternative to STP and UB in the future which explains why we are so busy with it: It's a hell lot of work 😄 If I find time I will work on RA and hopefully release V1.7.0 some time soon. If you want to keep track of "Policing Redefined" (the name of our upcoming plugin) you can join Echooo's server and/or Astro's server. There we occasionally post updates aswell as showcase videos. We also have a trello board where you can track our progress. Happy holidays everyone! 🎅
  11. Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it! Regarding the traffic accident event: Yes, I thought about doing so. It isn't that easy though. 😅 There is a traffic stop collision event though where a random vehicle collides with your police vehicle while you are on a traffic stop.
  12. That's a method for adding a ped to a pursuit, it's not the same as those events. Peds can join pursuits through various ways (e.g. another plugin adds a ped). Having events, such as mentioned above, would make keeping track of pursuit peds a lot easier.
  13. It would be useful to have an 'OnPedAddedToPursuit(LHandle pursuit, Ped ped)' event which gets called (as the name already says) when a ped is added to a pursuit. With this there could be also an 'OnPedRemovedFromPursuit(LHandle pursuit, Ped ped)' event to complete it 🙂
  14. 🙂 I think SimpleHUD works a bit different. Ransom Ambience requires the Newtonsoft.Json.dll to be in the main directory!
  15. Stopping a vehicle isn't really a problem. I am missing the feature to actually start a traffic stop while being "on foot", or like "instantly". StartPulloverOnParkedVehicle requires the player to be in a vehicle and I think the player also has to blip their siren in order to "confirm" the traffic stop, just like you do it normally while on patrol. What I'm missing is directly starting a traffic stop without any stuff like the "blip siren" confirmation or being forced to be in a vehicle.
  16. I am working on a big project with some other devs which should have the feature to start a traffic stop while being on foot. For example: Walking up to the window of a stopped or slowly-moving vehicle, opening a menu and then starting a traffic stop right on the drivers position. However I think I'm missing an API function for that. I do know that Functions.StartPulloverOnParkedVehicle is a thing: however if you call it while being on foot it doesn't work (see attachment). Apparently the player needs to be in a vehicle. So I would like to kindly request an api feature that would allow devs to start traffic stops on foot. 🙂

  19. Yes. Open the menu (default: F6) > Config > Event Weights. You might need to scroll down but there should be a "CarFire" item. Set that item to 0 (press enter, type in 0 and hit enter again), scroll to the bottom and hit "Save". Do that for each event zone to completely disable that event. Though if you change the value to 0 you should increase the chance of a different event within that zone so everything adds up to 1 again (only needed if the CarFire value was something else than 0). Lmk if you need further help 🙂
  20. It was added due to a suggestion in the early version of the plugin. Now you are able to disable it if you don't want it 🙂
