    I just got it to work! Watched this guy’s tutorial. https://youtu.be/Od0Eqkh1yx0. He has a mega link to version 1.0.2699.0, I just replaced the four executables included in my main directory and replaced the update.rpf and update2.rpf with his files in my “updates” folder.

    Having a similar issue, launching from Steam. Reverted back to 2699 and am now crashing while trying to enter single player 😞
