I'm not able to download the file myself at the moment, so I cant view the exact issue, but it sounds like it potentially has to do with the vehicle.meta entry. Check the vehicles.meta and change the game name and TXD name to the name of the CVPI (or whatever the value of "ModelName" is, though it should match the model file).

I've been a fan of "Christmas Tree" cars, so I don't necessarily have any recommendations for you. If you find a car that's non-ELS or FiveM ready that you like, you can convert it and have it still use ELS controls (J to activate lights, etc.). Just disable the "Is ELS controlled" option for extras in a ELS XML. Strict ELS is sort of limited regarding the amount of lighting because it uses the vehicle extras, which there is a max of 12 (I believe) of.

If I remember correctly, WeaponControl by Venoxity has such a feature, but it doesn't have the prong models. You'll be able to fire two separate prongs, reactivate them, and reload them accordingly. I would hyper link it for you but I'm sort of limited on mobile, so give it a Google search.

I've had this conversation quite a few times, and if you ask me, I believe the majority of "mod theft" comes from people paywalling items. There are people and sites who believe it's ok to republish someone else's work purely because they believe mods should be free. While I entirely believe that many more things should be free than what is, I don't condone stealing other people's work. However, you also have people who republish mods for the fun of it. I can understand paywalls for vehicles primarily, as bases of most models can be upwards of $100's of dollars, and let alone 3D modeling for vehicles cost money for subscriptions to said services. What I don't understand is why things like textures are paywalled when I could do the same exact thing if I wanted. What is really annoying is the 3D modeling for clothing components... I've only recently gotten into 3D modeling/converting Sims 4 clothing (with creator permissions, as they seem to be much more lenient and friendly), and I had to learn from them in order to make clothing from scratch. Most female components nowadays, for LSPDFR even, are behind paywalls when I can get the male version free.

Yes. Download the "Legacy SHVDN Version" under the old versions and install it the same way. Make sure you also have SHVDN in your main game directory. Keep in mind since you are installing the legacy version, it is unsupported by Venoxity and you may not receive the updated features the SHV version gets.

As for right now, as per RPH, no. The new version releases March 4th as planned. The current RPH version (as well as ScriptHookV) will only work with the legacy version until stated otherwise, as they cannot say for certain ahead of E&E's release.

I've spent some time messing with it, with both replace and addon, and I cannot seem to find a fix for it (using what I know could have fixed it). It appears to be with the model itself, but I am no car dev and have no idea what the specific issue is, nor can I find anything online that tells me otherwise. I'd suggest, if this is something that bothers you, to try another replacement pack for the time being.

Have you installed the vehicle(s) as addon or replace so I can mimick your installation?

As far as I am aware, unfortunately, no. Only Steam and Epic game(s) launchers have such a way to do so

ELS uses a vehicle's extra components, which as far as I know only the texture is manageable, though I don't believe your issue has anything to do with textures. My only other guess would be with the vehicle LoD's. What did the mod author tell you? Are you able to link the vehicle at all so I can maybe look at it? I can't guarantee a solution but would definitely like to look for you.

I believe this is an ELS configuration issue. Open your ELS.ini in the main game directory and modify the following values to the values below; LodCoronaInitDistance = 20.0 ElsMaxRangePl = 800 ElsMaxRangeAi = 500 Feel free to increase these values as your heart desires.

As far as I am aware, the Expanded and Enhanced update is a separate version. Rockstar themselves have said on the newswire they will be keeping the current version of the game ("legacy") to allow people who are unable to meet the specs to continue playing. In other words, you will be able to keep playing on the legacy version and update as you have previously. For the E&E version, SHV and RPH will not work as they are currently and I am not quite sure if support will be added for E&E for any of those.
