  1. It's a model from a fellow IV modder that hasn't seen a formal release, mainly because it's apart of a larger project. If it gets released, I'll let you know.
  2. This mod just adds an armor uppr, it does not add an armor bar for m_y_cop. My Enhanced Police Officers mod includes an improved peds.ide that buffs overall cop health, so I do recommend that. Otherwise, if you would like properly armored cops, I suggest you check out Liberty Tweaks, which actually uses one of my peds. https://gtaforums.com/topic/991160-liberty-tweaks/
  3. I did make a variant of it, but I I figured I should release the more period-style textures first, maybe I'll release the light blue texture in the V2 release.

GTA IV's LCPD Officers, while relatively well-designed with plenty of attention to detail, have been in need of an update for a while now, and have been desparately needing fixes ever since day one. All seems well at first glance, but look closer and you'll notice texture issues like mirrored patches on the leather jacket and mapping issues on the raincoat. Browse pedVariations.dat and discover entires for a third head that isn't there, only to check the .wtd and find the textures for it! The overweight cops were not exempt from their own share of issues- The short-sleeve uniform features low-quality badges that aren't the same type as those worn by fit officers, the jacket dosen't even have a badge and the patches are mirrored on every texture and uniform. I decided that I should make an effort to remedy these things and add some new features. Welcome to the Enhanced LCPD Officers mod for Grand Theft Auto IV! This mod brings a significant overhaul to M_Y_COP. This pack aims to bring the LCPD up to a higher standard, both in terms of variety, quality and their equipment. While Rockstar did a perfectly serviceable job when IV was released, the Vanilla M_Y_COP had a few issues that needed to be addressed. This mod is entirely Vanilla and lore-friendly, and brings both visual and gameplay improvements to the Liberty City Police for a much more varied and dynamic IV experience. Police will now wear sunglasses on patrol and have access to new uniforms such as body armor, tactical pants and stylish variations of existing outfits, along with variety of new hats and other headgear as well! Officers on the streets are now a lot tougher as well, with overall improved health for resistance to damage. This has been an ongoing project of mine for a while now, and I am very happy to finally present the V1 release. This pack features: -Brand-new uniforms- New uniforms, including body armor and tactical pants. -Uniform variations- Enhanced beta LCPD jacket in gray, along with blue shirt variants of the long-sleeve shirt, including one for the jacket (available in separate .wtd). -New Pedprops- Mirror textures for the Aviators, new Wayfarer and sport shades glasses, and new headgear including a ball cap, Ushanka, tac helmet, bike helmet and full-face respirator! The correct beta texture for the police cap is included as well. -Added face textures- Three new face textures for each head, allowing for even more spawning variety, with a total of nine new face textures! -Restored White Cop Head- Restored the missing White cop head! -Fixed M_M_FATCOP textures- Correct badges have been added and the shoulder patches are no longer mirrored! -Custom pedvariations.dat- Custom entries for more uniform variety! -Custom pedpersonality.dat- Increases health of Officers for greater resilience from injuries! -Custom peds.ide entry- Makes it so that White officers do not refer to themselves as State Troopers. Credit to AlAlvarez for help with resizing some of the props! BUGS/GLITCHES: -The tactical pants do not work with the short/long-sleeve shirts or the raincoat, with the meshes not quite fitting together. I have disabled the pants for this reason. More details are in the pedVariations ReadMe. DISCLAIMER: My rule is that I do not want to see my mods redistributed elsewhere without permission, and this pack is ONLY to be uploaded on LCPDFR.com. It IS NOT to be uploaded anywhere else! I hope you enjoy this mod! Expect more enhanced characters soon!
  4. It sounds like you need to enable additional props in simple trainer. Go to trainer.ini, search for modelhats, and make sure the value is set to 0.

How do you make an impression in a place like LC? When you're pinned down in a gun battle against some lowlife thugs pummeling your position with their 9mm Pistols and Micro SMGs, how can you tell them you're different from all the other guys? Enter the all-new Nickel-Plated Combat Pistol from GQ Supply Company- If the nine rounds of .357 Magnum dosen't put a dent in their morale, you can be sure that the fabulous finish on this gentleman's firearm will distract them long enough for you to reload and throw some more lead downrange. Control that recoil and this handgun will treat you well. Welcome to the Nickel-Plated Combat Pistol mod! This mod gives the Desert Eagle-based Combat Pistol a higher-quality finish, new details and fixes unpleasant errors! The IV Deagle stands out among the other guns in GTA IV- partially because it's the only other Pistol in the vanilla game, but also for some other reasons. The developers clearly took pride in modeling this weapon, but they still managed to mirror the "DEAGLE .47 LIBERTY CITY ARMS" texture on the left side of the gun, making it look downright stupid. On top of that, the gun lacks a magazine release, and comes in an unpleasant, bare-metal shade of gray, making look as though it came off the line without a proper finish. This mod handles these issues and adds some new details for a higher-quality Combat Pistol! This mod features: -All-new nickel finish, greatly improving the weapon's appearance -Fixed text on the side, now it simply reads "IMI" (can't mirror those letters!) -New magazine release -Highly-detailed rear sights, making the gun FPS competent -New WeaponInfo: Higher damage and longer range, but greater recoil -New cutscene model for TLaD -.wtd replacement for TBoGT version -Models included, just in case you didn't make backups! ////////////////////////// DISCLAIMER: My rule is that I do not want to see my mods redistributed elsewhere without permission, and this pack is ONLY to be uploaded on LCPDFR.com. Welcome to the (first) Van Insanity Livery Pack! This pack features new, (weird) high-quality (unhinged) liveries for each of GTA IV's three original livery-support vans! I've been sitting on some of these liveries for a few months now, and I figured it was high time I released them! I'm planning on doing more packs in the future as well, hence this being number one. The liveries are mostly interchangable between models, especially the Pony and Burrito, but the Speedo's rear door design would clash with the liveries from the Pony and Burrito, so I don't reccomend using those liveries on the Speedo. This pack features: -CTOS livery for Burrito: From Ubishit's world of Watch Dogs comes this near-future van livery! Emblazoned with the logos of the Blume Corporation and their so-called "CiTy Operating System", this livery brings some tech dystopia vibes to the streets of LC and Alderney! Grab your ASP Baton and start brooding on the street corner, you're a hacker now. -Satriale's Pork Store livery for Burrito: Situated between a deli and a hardware store on Acter's Moog Street, this Italian cafe and butchery is a icon of Alderney cuisine and a must-try destination for anyone seeking quality food and friendly staff. Truly one of the more convincing legitimate business fronts! -Sprunk livery for Burrito: Sprunk's Alderney plant shut down years ago, but some of the last Burritos from their fleet can still be spotted trundeling around town. If you happen to find yourself behind the wheel, don't drink anything you find in the back- that crap was bottled just after Love Fist broke up. -eCola livery for Pony: Unlike Sprunk, eCola's fleet is still presentable and up-to-date. Liveried in the new "share an eCola with" theme, the message of friendship spread by these vans will prompt you to phone up that nutjob you met while you were visiting Tony Prince's clubs last summer, because hey, it's not like you've got anything better to do. -Aperture Science livery for Speedo: Hailing from the pothole-ridden streets of Upper Michigan come the vans of Aperture Science Incorporated! However, the LCPD is suspicious of their presence and the intentions of company drivers- Traffic stops have already resulted in seizures of highly illegal components and chemicals used for nefarious purposes. ////////////////////////// DISCLAIMER: My rule is that I do not want to see my mods redistributed elsewhere without permission, and this pack is ONLY to be uploaded on LCPDFR.com. Welcome to the Improved Emergency Liveries Pack! This pack features complete livery and color overhauls for the Ambulance, Fire Truck and Police Maverick in order to modernize and brighten their appearances, bringing these often-overlooked vehicles up to 2008-period accuracy while remaining lore-friendly! I was motivated to make these textures after, well, I grew tired of the dated and somewhat bland Vanilla designs. The Vanilla Ambulance livery is a '90s period piece, seemingly belonging to a lore equivalent of the NYC EMS, which, in reality, was merged with the FDNY in 1998. The Fire Truck falls into a similar trap as well, with '90s-vintage color distribution and, curiously, nowhere on the truck does the word "FIRE" or "FIRE DEPARTMENT" appear, with the exception of the patch- despite "FIRE" text going unused on the actual texture. The Police Maverick's livery is essentially the same as the police cars, down to the "LCPD" text on the side. While this design isn't that bad, it is inaccurate to reality and looks a bit boring- trust me, with my mods, you'll see the difference! This pack features: -New CarCols entries: New colors for all three vehicles- a brighter shade of red for the Fire Truck and Ambulance, and an impressive blue paintjob for the Police Maverick! -Ambulance livery overhaul: FDLC markings for the Ambulance, along with new "FIRE DEPARTMENT" text, along with the Star of Life actually used by the FDNY! This livery is compatible with any Ambulance mod that uses Vanilla mapping, such as Thundersmacker's Vapid Steed Ambulance. The livery has been included in .dds format for individual replacement. -Fire Truck livery overhaul: New "FIRE" markings along the side, as well as a tasteful remembrance decal. The "69" number has been changed to be black-and-white. Several smaller details have been added to the truck's rear and control panels, inspired by markings seen on actual FDNY trucks. -Police Maverick livery overhaul: A cleaner, higher-quality livery, with "POLICE" text becoming more prominent. -Vanilla style: Blends seamlessly into the game world, and looks like it's been there since launch day! -Handling improvements for Ambulance and Fire Truck: Improved durability for the rigors of rescue! Reccomended Mod: Thundersmacker's Vapid Steed Ambulance: https://www.gtainside.com/en/gta4/cars/85754-vapid-steed-ambulance DISCLAIMER: My rule is that I do not want to see my mods redistributed elsewhere without permission, and this pack is ONLY to be uploaded on LCPDFR.com. Welcome to the National Coast Guard livery pack! This pack contains two liveries designed for Vx5 Voltage's Second-Gen Stanier Cruisers. These liveries are derived from the iconography of the National Coast Guard organization introduced in GTA V, and the overall design is based on the liveries found on later versions of the US Coast Guard Ford Crown Victoria. These liveries feature: -Lore-friendly markings: National Coast Guard seal on the doors! -Unique design: Similar to the real USCG livery while still feeling unique to IV. -Vanilla style: Blends seamlessly into the game world, and looks like it's been there since launch day! -Roof text alt: Choose between a livery with "NCG" markings on the roof or no roof markings at all. This livery is designed to be used with Vx5 Voltage's IV-Style Second Gen Staniers, particularly the NOOSE Cruiser. There's kind of a shortage of custom reloads out there. I have been experimenting with adding a Saiga-12 to my game for a while now, but I could never find a good reload animation for it. A similar dilemma persisted with the reload for the M4 and AK- The vanilla animation has a magazine being reloaded when the player is crouching, but does not have one for when the player is standing, and only features the charging handle being pulled. Welcome to the Auto Rifle and Box-Fed Shotgun Reload mod! This mod brings two custom weapon animations to GTA IV, consisting of a new animation set for the M4 and AK as well as an all-new reload for box-fed, semi-automatic shotguns! This pack is great if you are looking to improve your vanilla weapons, or if you are planning on adding weapons such as a Saiga-12 or a SPAS-15. This pack features: -Improved Assault Rifle Reload: New magazine insertion reloads while standing, along with correct audio and character movement! -All-new Semi-Automatic Box-Fed Shotgun reload: New animations for add-on or replacement shotguns, featuring magazine insertion and audio! ////////////////////////// DISCLAIMER: My rule is that I do not want to see my mods redistributed elsewhere without permission, and this pack is ONLY to be uploaded on LCPDFR.com. While GTA IV had relatively decent clothing options and variety (along with a few cut clothing items), the same could not be said for EFLC. Johnny had no options to change clothes, no props and only one alternate texture for his pants and jacket each (neither of which could be toggled by the player). TBoGT was a slight improvement, giving the player a few different preset outfits to choose from, but still no mixing-and-matching of upprs and lowrs, and a pedprops file consisting only of a bike helmet with three textures and a mission-only earpiece. I decided that more could be added. Welcome to the New Hats and Glasses for Luis mod! This mod adds new hats and a pair of sunglasses to Luis' pedprops files in order to bring some more variety to the TBoGT experience. This mod features: -Three new hats for Luis, consisting of: -Flat cap with three alternate textures -Ushanka with the Coat of Arms of the Dominican Republic -Fedora in dark gray -New sunglasses, featuring GTA IV's unused texture -Deleted two of the helmet textures, leaving only the camo one ////////////////////////// I will likely add to this mod in the future, so keep an eye out for any updates! WHAT'S NEW - Version 1.1 -Higher-quality texture for the police hat -Higher-quality textures for the raincoat, including improved specular layers -Higher-quality diffuse texture for the body armor -Health and melee buff Rockstar made some weird decisions with the EFLC cops. Firstly, they decided to overwrite the vanilla cops in their entirety, I guess it's one way to make the police experience different from GTA IV, but they fumbled it; The PedProps included in TLaD aren't any different from those found in GTA IV, yet they still managed to break the sunglasses, making them entirely transparent in-game. Loads of new voicelines were recorded, only for them to go entirely unused, and they replaced the Black, Latino and White heads with one Chinese head and two White heads- as a result, we were left with a Chinese cop using Black cop voicelines, and a White cop using Latino voicelines. They also made some goofy texture decisions, compressing the pants textures down to 256x256 in TLaD, resulting in some hideous-looking gunbelts- and then there's TBoGT, where EVERY TEXTURE -yes, EVERY TEXTURE- is shrunken down to 256p or smaller in order for the .wtd to come in under 1000 KB. Really bad all around, and all this has been bugging me for a while now- so I finally buckled down and created a fix I think everyone will appreciate. Welcome to the New Cops for EFLC mod for Grand Theft Auto IV! This mod brings much-needed improvements to the M_Y_COP models found in EFLC, adding new head models and uniforms as well as props! As I wrote above, Rockstar managed to totally drop the ball when it came to making new cops for EFLC. This mod aims to overhaul all of this as well as adding new content. This pack features: -New Uniforms- Added new body armor model for police officers! -Custom Pedprops- Unique aviators for both DLCs, correct diffuse textures for the police cap and an ALL NEW HELMET for Motor Officers! -New head models- New head models for Black and Latino cops! -Texture fixes- All diffuse textures are 512x512, the raincoat's collar is no longer white and the patches on the jacket face the correct way. -Correct placement of head models- Black, Latino and White cops now all use their correct voicelines. -Custom pedvariations.dat- Custom entires for the added body armor! -Custom pedpersonality.dat- Increases health of Police Officers for greater resilience from injuries! -BONUS - custom peds.ide- Makes it so that White LCPD Officers don't refer to themselves as State Troopers. ////////////////////////// BUGS/GLITCHES: -The eyes on the White cop move around a little odd sometimes, but it's not a big deal. -Make sure you have hats enabled in simple trainer in order to make your character wear the new helmet! As they do not have additonal hats by default, you need to make this change in order to equip the new headgear. DISCLAIMER: My rule is that I do not want to see my mods redistributed elsewhere without permission, and this pack is ONLY to be uploaded on LCPDFR.com. It IS NOT to be uploaded anywhere else! I hope you enjoy these new cops!
  6. I have more cop mods coming that use heads from the traffic cops (including the Black cop), and I want to reuse heads as little as possible in order to preserve immersion. Additionally, using certain heads (traffic cop heads on normal cops and vice versa) causes bugs with the eyes depending on what skeletons I use for the peds, and the State Police hats and glasses tend to clip through the M_Y_COP heads- I originally wanted to use ASP hats for my Corrections Officers mod, but they have clipping issues. Edit: I'll tell you what I might be able to do- TLaD has it's own traffic cop model that uses the Chinese cop head, maybe I'll make an alternate version that uses that head- If there's no issues with clipping. I want my mods to be as bug-free as possible. Follow-Up Edit: Unfortunately, both versions of the Chinese cop head have clipping issues, so I won't be using those. I got some ideas for other heads I can use, but for now I'm going to focus on some of my other mods.

WHAT'S NEW - Version 1.1 -New clothing- ASP overcoat and tie -New prop- Motorcycle Helmet -Health and melee buff The Alderney State Troopers have always been in need of an overhaul. From the start there was barely any uniform variety, simply consisting of a (well-appointed and quality modeled) NJSP-style shirt and tie and a jacket copy-and-pasted from the LCPD, albeit with incorrect, lower-quality textures. But hey, let's be grateful that Rockstar added State Troopers separate from the LCPD- can you imagine if the LCPD patrolled Alderney in the final game? The thought of that keeps me up at night. Fortunately, that's not the case, and today I bring you a mod that brings the State Troopers up to par with the LCPD! Welcome to the Enhanced State Troopers mod for Grand Theft Auto IV! This mod brings a much-needed improvements to M_Y_STROOPER, adding new head models and uniforms as well as props! While Rockstar did give us good assets, namely the props, shirt and head models, everything else on the vanilla trooper is very much the result of hurried last-minute development, with incorrect textures on the jacket as well as only a single head model. This mod aims to overhaul all of this as well as adding new content. This pack features: -Brand-new uniforms- New uniforms and textures, including body armor and tactical pants with correct normal and specular layers. -Custom Pedprops- New hats for rainy weather as well as tactical helmets and goggles! -New head models- Added two new head models for additional spawning variety. -Custom pedvariations.dat- Custom entires for uniform variety, including jackets spawning on patrolling cops as well as hats during the rain! -Custom pedpersonality.dat- Increases health of State Troopers for greater resilience from injuries! I have more additions to this pack planned, such as high-visibility jackets and NJSP-style coats. I also have two (2!) LCPD versions in the works, so stay tuned! ////////////////////////// BUGS/GLITCHES: -The eyes on the Latino trooper stick out a bit at times. This is just an issue with adding this particular head to the .wft, as the other mods I looked at had a similar issue, so it's not a big deal. -The sunglasses clip through the nose of the new White head a bit. -Make sure you have hats enabled in simple trainer in order to make your character wear the new hat and helmet! I hope you enjoy this new mod pack!

Yeah, the link is in the ReadMe for the ASP liveries, but here's the link on its own. https://www.gtainside.com/en/gta4/cars/181666-enhanced-lcpd-cars/ Ooboy did a second version as well, this one gives the Police Cruisers black window trim and adds mapping for roof numbers to the cars. https://www.gtainside.com/en/gta4/cars/191360-enhanced-lcpd-cars-2-0/
