  1. Hi all, I just bought GTA 4 Complete Edition on Steam a few days ago and I have been trying to install mods for it. I have successfully installed Ultimate HD Textures, updated road textures, vegetation, etc. However scripts refuse to work. I downgraded to 1.0.7.0 using the GTA 4 Downgrader tool, and the game and save game works fine. The aforementioned graphical mods also work fine. The tool had options to install Scripthook, xlive, and some others which I agreed to install with it. The scripts have worked the first time I tried, using bleed and heal mod and bullet euphoria. Those worked but when I installed more nothing worked. When I removed the new ones and kept those 2 it still did not work. Another time it worked for a few Nivea minutes then stopped working. I have tried reinstalling the game multiple times, downloading different scripthooks, but nothing will work at all anymore. I only have one log i can remember seeing, when I used ScripthookDotNet, which said '[ScripthookDotNet] Thread instance being deleted then 'Thread killed' I'm guessing this is a similar to the issue I'm observing with the other scripthook that came with the GTA 4 Downgrader. The game never crashes, either at startup or during game play EXCEPT when I tried to replace the xlive.dll that came with the Downgrader with an xliveless off the internet. Then the game wouldn't start. Any help would be appreciated. I cannot for the life of me figure out what to do.
