1XRAY80 got a reaction from Phil F in Accidentally deleted script in script hook vin your update folder in your main folder should be the og dlclist.xml just copy it to your mods folder. you might have to put in various mods back onto the list but as long as you know what you put in it shouldnt be a problem
GTAV>update>update.rpf>common>data
and well if you deleted it from the main folder and not the mod folder you should just try and verify your files through whatever launcher you use

1XRAY80 reacted to Cyan in Update roundup and summary for GTA Patch v3258They update their game. Modders have to change their hooks around it. In this case, a few established memory patterns broke, although the impact to LSPDFR itself was minimal.
There was very little to no error handling on the SHVDN side to their memory patterns breaking which has led to a large uptick in support queries (it also does not help most users don't even know they have it installed). Something around vehicles/sirens changed, impacting ELS and SSLA. And the usual game recompilation which leads to SHV and RPH needing updated. None of these changes are "intentional" on the part of Rockstar, the breakage is a consequence to how mods for GTA V work. They cannot be expected to not touch their game code in fear of breaking the modding community, especially when the modding community recovers so quickly.
Rockstar probably does not give too much thought on people who have made mods for their game when they update it, and that's okay. We are a small community compared to the target audience of their game updates (GTA Online players). It would be great if somehow singleplayer and multiplayer were separated a little, but they're not.

1XRAY80 reacted to Cyan in Update roundup and summary for GTA Patch v3258Hello everyone! As you’ve seen, the new “Bottom Dollar Bounties” update introduces several new vehicles that we’ve integrated into LSPDFR. Alongside these additions, there have been a few behind-the-scenes changes necessitating updates from developers for their mods.
In this news post, I’ll outline the updates for the most commonly used mods in the LSPDFR community and provide guidance on what needs updating. While the focus is on the LSPDFR community, I’ll also include general information beneficial to any user of GTA V modifications.
LSPDFR and RAGEPluginHook (RPH)
Both LSPDFR and RAGEPluginHook required updates for this new patch:
The fixes are included in LSPDFR build 8943 and RPH 1.110, both of which are part of the latest LSPDFR download. This update includes support for the new “Bottom Dollar Bounties” vehicles, adding five new police vehicles to the default LSPDFR loadout. Additionally, it includes general quality-of-life fixes from our maintenance branch, reduces the spawn chance of the gauntlet, and addresses an oversight allowing the gauntlet to spawn for prisoner transport. Update 30th June 2024: Microsoft Defender has incorrectly introduced a false positive detection for RPH in a recent definition update. If you're affected, you'll see RPH briefly mentioning 'Verifying Hook' and crash. It may not be sufficient to just exempt your GTA folder; To start RPH, it may be necessary to temporarily disable your AV. You can re-enable your AV when RPH starts and hooks successfully.
Scripthook V (SHV)
SHV typically requires an update for each new patch. Alexander Blade, the creator of SHV, has updated his hook, available on the Scripthook V page. Many non-LSPDFR modifications rely on SHV, so updating is essential.
Emergency Lighting System (ELS)
Well, this is the update that finally broke ELS! However, luckily the file that needed an update was @LMS’s AdvancedHookV.dll library. This new file, which you’ll need to use ELS on the new patch, is available from the ELS download page.
To install it, download the AdvancedHookV_b3258.zip file and extract the included AdvancedHookV.dll into your game folder.
SirenSetting Limit Adjuster (SSLA)
Users have reported SSLA causing game crashes. If you use RPH, your game might crash during the "Initializing Game Support" stage. To resolve this, remove SirenSetting_Limit_Adjuster.asi from your game folder until an update becomes available.
Community Scripthook V .NET (SHVDN)
The latest game update also caused problems with SHVDN, including crashing when trying to open the SHVDN console, and scripts refusing to load. The fix for this and other SHVDN issues are included in their nightly builds, which you should install if any of your mods use or require SHVDN.
OpenIV File Mods (mods folder)
If you’ve installed file mods through OpenIV, you’ll probably need to at least update update.rpf in your mods folder. This usually involves deleting the file and recreating it, and reinstalling any modifications that you put into that file. This is the downside of using the OpenIV mods method, unfortunately.
LML File Mods (lml folder)
If you’ve installed file mods through LML, you won’t need to reinstall or update your mods in general.
Just make sure you've got the latest LML gameconfig.xml, which you can find here:
gameconfig.xml
Please note that using an outdated modified gameconfig.xml will crash loading into story mode. An updated gameconfig.xml can be found on GTA5-Mods.
Other Honourable Mentions
Heap Adjuster, PackfileLimitAdjuster, and Weapon Limits Adjuster do not require updates at this time and should continue to function normally if installed.
This post summarises the most common LSPDFR-related modifications and their updates. If you continue to experience issues, it’s likely specific to your setup rather than a widespread problem. Perhaps code 6 investigating? I believe that still sets you unavailable for callouts

i also recommend putting in
RiskierTrafficStops
DeadlyWeapons
Tourniquet
Immersive Effects
Restrain The Deceased
Plain Sight
Ransom Ambience
all of those should add quality of play and immersion especially if youre going around just pulling people over instead of accepting callouts

Whenever I'm in the mood to do this (traffic stops) I just use:
Compulite for running people and writing the tickets, plus I use the LSPDFR base ticket writing and enter the value that Compulite came up with as the fine for LSPDFR stat purposes.
Prowler Radar for speed checks. There are some good places on the highways where you'll catch some ai speeding without even needing any additional mods.
Callout Interface for ALPR and because it auto generates a CAD call when you start a traffic stop which just adds to the realism of it.
That's really it. Stop The Ped may add some things you may want but it's too clunky for my tastes. Plus I don't like how it disables some things that LSPDFR does better by default (like actually making the arrest and escorting the arrestee). Although it may be the only option for requesting a tow truck, however in my experience, GTA V too aggressively deletes unused vehicles for a tow to even be necessary. By time I walk the arrestee to my car their car will be gone.

1XRAY80 reacted to cherryaerie in How to get more random criminals in LSPDFRImmersive Ambient Events, Super Events, and Ransom Ambience are all mods that will give you ambient events throughout the map. Likewise, Riskier Traffic Stops will allow for a variety of outcomes to traffic stops, instead of it being the same routine over and over again.

Good decision to play LSPDFR (again) and good to have you here.
I play LSPDFR several years and I modded the game to perfection. The provided Links here are hand picked and my favourites. It runs very stable and my aim is to achieve the greatest possible degree of realism and immersion and I attach great importance to realism and immersion. I have often read the question about stable plugins. That's why I decided to open this thread. i'm taking the time here to list the plugins with the links because i want to give something back to this community.
Most plugins are from lspdfr.com. but some are from GTA5mods.com.
