  1. I apologize for being away, and I hope everyone has been well during the year since my last visit here! I've been busy with life, and other projects, including another GTA V mod which will be launched soon. I will be returning to this project in full swing soon, as I still have big plans for it, both in the short term to address any requests, concerns, bugs and shortfalls in it's current state, as well as plans for the long term to quite literally give us infinite content updates. Stay safe officers and I hope to return soon!
  2. Hello everyone! First off I'm glad everyone is enjoying the mod and appreciating the work that went into it so far. I really want to stress that if you have any suggestions for this mod, please comment them or message me! With your feedback, this pack will continue to grow infinitely. Also, after a small break from working on this mod, I'll be coming back to it and plan to release V1.4 soon!
  3. Sorry everyone, no update this month. After 250 hours of work it seems I needed a small break. But I'll be back!
  4. You're welcome! It's been an enormous amount of work, about 250 hours so far, so I'm glad that it's paying off! And I do not currently have that line of dialogue included, but I will certainly add it and make sure that it's included with the release of V1.4.0.
  5. Oh nice! I'll certainly add the extra dialogue once it gets released. As far as them refusing to exit the vehicle, I do have dialogue for that situation in the main dialogue above all of the sub categories. It starts with, "Step out of the vehicle please." and then the next dialogue option escalates to, "I'm ordering you to step out of the vehicle, right now." and then finally, "I said get out of the vehicle! Now!" I can definitely add dialogue like this for turning off the car engine, or anything else that has a chance of refusal.
  6. Thanks for letting me know! I don't think I've ever had anyone refuse to do a breathalyzer test for me, so I wasn't aware of that. I'll absolutely add the relevant dialogue for update V1.4.0. And if you come across any other missing dialogue, definitely let me know so I can make sure to add it also!
  7. This is a great idea! Thank you for the guide on setting custom weapon names, mods that focus on user-friendliness are always 5/5 in my book!
As someone who tries to play with the most realism possible, I think this is an amazing idea! I would have never thought of this, let alone actually be able to find the name locations within OpenIV so I'm impressed! It's easy and quick to install, and I really enjoy the guide on being able to set custom weapon names instead. Great mod!
  8. Thank you for the feedback! Stolen vehicle dialogue can now be found in the "Stolen Vehicles" section of the "Felony Questions" sub-category.
  9. Yes! I spent 70 hours thoroughly researching the Department of Transportation's commercial motor vehicle roadside inspection procedure to develop a new sub-category to match. It covers a comprehensive range of 36 separate inspections, presented in an organized and user-friendly manner; allowing you to engage in dialogue for each individual component, or a more general dialogue for each inspection category instead - thereby expediting the process. You're able to check the driver's information, safety components, lighting system, mechanical components, semi truck and trailer. And to make things easier to understand, this update explains the description, requirements and regulations for each component, as well as where to find them on the vehicle - guiding you on what to look for to identify violations. The process is designed to mimic the procedures followed by real police officers, with all of the information based on the United States Code of Federal Regulations Title 49 Subtitle B Chapter III Subchapter B, and cross-referenced with videos of real CMV inspections. The citations, amounts and penalties are based on real violations sourced from the Minnesota State Patrol. To make things easier to understand, this update explains the description, requirements and regulations for each component, as well as where to find them on the vehicle - guiding you on what to look for to identify violations. Just simply click each inspection category header to stay well informed while conducting your inspection. And once the inspection is complete, you can now choose between 68 CMV related violations using CompuLite to actually print off an inspection report and hand it to the driver. The citations, amounts and penalties are based on real violations sourced from the Minnesota State Patrol. After only a couple of CMV inspections you'll have the knowledge to quickly identify various violations and initiate a traffic stop if necessary - effortlessly building your knowledge and honing your police skills.
  10. The advantage of Realistic Conversations Update is it offers more immersion because it's focused on providing complete conversation dialogue for every interaction, no matter the reason you're talking to someone - instead of just providing individual lines of dialogue that don't sound natural when used together. Every line of dialogue in this update is important and used frequently, and is organized in a color coded, more user-friendly way than what Ultimate offers. It also provides dialogue for every action players can do while using Stop the Ped which is something Ultimate seems to be lacking. And to ensure natural conversations, I've sometimes provided a couple different variations of the same questions since every conversation will be different, and you may just need to say that line of dialogue a little differently to make it sound natural, offering coherent and consistent interactions with the suspects - another thing that Ultimate doesn't take advantage of. Plus, I've designed the NPC responses to be genuine and natural, leading you directly into your next question or statement - providing you with life-like conversations. In contrast, the dialogue in Ultimate is just not organized enough to make it possible to have full, comprehensive, realistic dialogue with suspects consistently. The dialogue options in that pack are cluttered and often lacking important dialogue options, with an unreasonably high amount of spelling, grammar, formatting and punctuation errors, including missing punctuation and randomly capitalized words. It also has too many NPC responses that are not genuine or dynamic along with dialogue options that a real police officer would never say. Another thing that makes Realistic Conversations Update really stand out is the new commercial vehicle inspection sub-category. With 306 unique lines of dialogue in just that one sub-category covering 36 different inspection points, it's way more comprehensive and complete than the one found in Ultimate. Not to mention that while using Ultimate, if someone isn't already familiar with commercial motor vehicle inspections, they're not going to understand what hardly any of it means because nothing is explained - where as this update has 40 comprehensive descriptions it will provide you with in real time as you're doing an inspection - giving you all the information you'll need to understand the CMV inspection process. Plus this update gives you the ability to include up to 68 new CMV related violations in your inspection report, and then actually hand that inspection report to the driver afterwards - another detail which Ultimate does not offer. Ultimate also seems to rely pretty heavily on false hypotheticals within the game which you can blatantly see are not true or correct- something that Realistic Conversations completely avoids. In fact, this update is built to emphasize what's actually happening in the game - making it infinitely more immersive, in depth and user friendly! And with currently 224 more unique lines of dialogue, over 18,000 more answers, and 37,000 more lines of code than what Ultimate offers, Stop the Ped: Realistic Conversations Update is, as far as I'm aware, the largest and most detailed dialogue pack available for Stop the Ped.
  11. It would be really cool to have a Stop the Ped mod with matching audio! Unfortunately in it's current state, it's not possible.

STOP THE PED: Realistic Conversations Update - A complete dialogue overhaul of the Stop the Ped mod by Bejoijo Included are over 1,200 unique lines of dialogue, with thousands of unique responses. This provides full conversational dialogue for more than 100 legal violations, along with dialogue for every action your character can make while interacting with suspects using Stop The Ped. All dialogue is modeled closely on real-life conversations between police officers and civilians. It’s organized into 29 user-friendly sub-categories, with consistent formatting and virtually no grammar or spelling errors. To make suspects feel lifelike, NPC responses are grouped by emotion within the code. Normal questions are more likely to get calm answers, while more stressful dialogue is more likely to make them worried or annoyed. This keeps their reactions believable in any situation and gives every character in Los Santos personality, making each interaction immersive, dynamic, and unique. The categories included are: ________ Main Dialogue _________ General Greetings and Statements Stop Initiation and Interrogation Dialogue License and ID Questions Instructions and Commands Scene Management Citation and Warning Dialogue Wrap-Up Dialogue _______ Routine Traffic Stops _______ Vehicle Document Violations Vehicle Equipment Violations Vehicle Operation Violations Vehicle Passenger Dialogue Motor Vehicle Accident Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspection ________ Smaller Issues ________ Animal Related Incidents Property Crimes Public Violations ________ Bigger Issues _________ Outstanding Warrants Resisting and Obstructing Traffic Felonies Violent Crimes _______ Contraband Issues _____ Alcohol Questions Narcotics Questions Weapon Questions _________ Field Tests __________ Field Sobriety Test Breathalyzer Test Drug Swab Test Narcotics Field Test _________ Field Work __________ Pat Down Dialogue Arrest Dialogue Installation instructions: 1) After you have already installed Stop The Ped, open the Realistic Conversations Update V2.0 folder included in this mod. 2) Next, drag the “Plugins” folder into your Grand Theft Auto V main directory. 3) If you choose, make backups of the XML files you'll be prompted to overwrite, then overwrite them. Then just go on patrol and use Stop the Ped as normal. After using the "Question the Ped" option you'll see all of your new dialogue.
